Dr. Ralph Kurti majored in biology at Columbia Union College (a Christian college) in Takoma Park, MD. Following that he attended Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in Loma Linda, CA, where he received his DDS (dental) degree in 1972 followed by a year of internship at the dental school. For the next three years he practiced general dentistry in a mission clinic on Guam. In 1976 he returned to again attend LLUSD where he obtained an MS degree in orthodontics. He has been a practicing orthodontist in Franklin, NC since mid 1978, adding the office in Murphy, NC shortly after that and later spending one to two days a month also seeing patients in Robbinsville, NC where he and Dr. Patrick Kelley share an office.

Dr. Kurti and his team work hard to ensure that each and every patient is given ample time to discuss treatment options and to determine what orthodontic treatment is right for them. We know that orthodontic care is an investment on many levels, which is why we work hard to provide the highest quality services for our patients possible, utilizing the latest trends and techniques in the world of orthodontry.

Dr. Kurti and his entire staff are the very Definition of professional, courteous, and just simply nice. There are absolutely times that I am scattered and they always seem to make sure than I'm going to get there on time with their text reminder as well as helping me when I have to make changes. Vivian's smile has always been beautiful, but now it is spectacularly beautiful!

I just called today(2/27/19) and I was asked if I was a new patient . I was also asked if I had insurance . I was told that they only had a consultation until July 2019 . I feel like that is a very long wait. I would greatly appreciate it if I got a response if this is how long it takes to get a consultation.

Does not wash his hands between patients. Changes gloves, but never touched the sink or sanitizer.

Adult braces are hard!! Dr. Kurti makes it easy. The staff is superior and very kind. They were always so careful and empathic to any concerns I had. Best investment for myself! Adult braces are worth it with Dr. Kurti!

Scheduling is great, I pretty much have the choice of what time a day every time I schedule my appointment. They were able to work with the times that were best with me- which is really good!
