As a dental professional, I stay up to date on the latest advancements in dentistry in order to provide the most current treatment options for my patients. As a doctor, I recognize that my patients are unique individuals who have placed a great deal of trust in me and my team. That is just one reason why I value each and every patient relationship.
I am a lifelong Louisville, Kentucky native. I met my wife Dr. Sandy Payne in dental school and we married in 1993. We enjoy running marathons, cycling, traveling, boating and snow skiing. We have a college age daughter who we spend our spare time with as much as possible. We are avid UofL athletics fans and attend as many games as possible.

Dr Rakutt is great, he made my teeth look beautiful. I had broken my front tooth and was embarrassed to smile. He gave me a fantastic smile. Walking into his office and interacting with his staff was like being with your own family, they are so nice, Carlotta puts you so at ease you really don't mind going to the dentist. I highly recommend Dr Rakutt and his staff.

If you're reading reviews because you're afraid of the dentist: here is your answer. I'm even writing this from the parking lot after having work done. They have 100% helped me face my fear. From front desk, to dental assistant and dentist; this whole office is amazing. They are patient, gentle and explanatory.

My literal entire family goes to see him. He's kind, reasonable, and doesn't try to get you to pay for a lot of unnecessary nonsense. Love him and the staff are amazing too!!

By far the best dentist office ever the place was clean the staff is courteous and the doctor is gentle. Dr Rakutt best dentist I ever used hands down.
