Dr. Vij moved to the Akron area after completing his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) at Loyola University Chicago School of Dentistry in 1991. He practiced as a general dentist for eight years before he made the decision to pursue his true passion of pediatric dentistry. He moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at the University of Maryland in 2001. He then moved back to Akron what he calls home and opened Dentistry 4 Kids.
Dr. Vij has previously served as the director of the Summit County Childrens Dental Health program and is currently on staff at Akron Childrens Hospital where he currently serves as the dental director. He is certified in basic life support and has advanced training in pediatric advanced life support (PALS). In 2004, Dr. Vij had an article entitled, Pulp Therapy in Primary Teeth published in the Journal of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Vij is extremely passionate about pediatric dentistry and the impact it has on childrens lives. This passion carries over into his relationships with his patients and their families. Each year Dr. Vij volunteers during the Childrens Dental Health month as well as the Give Kids a Smile Day where free dental care is offered to children who cannot afford it.
Dr. Ying An was born in Shanghai, China. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from East China Normal University. She moved to the United States in 2006 shortly after graduating from college. She attended The Ohio State Universitys College of Dentistry where she received her DDS degree and PhD in Oral Biology in 2016. After finishing her education in Columbus, she completed her pediatric dental residency program at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Sandhya Menon is a board-certified pediatric dentist through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. She previously attended Lehigh University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology. After dental school, she completed an Advanced Education Program in Pediatric Dentistry at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Menon previously worked in the metropolitan areas of Boston and Houston, but she is now happy to call Cleveland home. She is passionate about childrens oral health and looks forward to serving her new community. She is eager to meet you and your families!
In her free time, she enjoys trying group fitness classes and exploring new restaurants with her husband. She also likes attending performing arts events, such as stand up comedy, theater and dance. She mostly enjoys spending time with her young daughter.
Dr. Eric Yoskovich was born and raised in Sterling Heights, Michigan, a small town near Detroit. He attended the Honors College at Wayne State University, and in 2014 he matriculated to the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. After earning his DDS, he attended The University of Toledos Pediatric Dentistry residency and completed his masters degree in Oral Biology, where he received invaluable experience and training treating many children.
Dr. Eric is relatively new to the Cleveland area and hopes to adopt a dog and become familiar with the Cuyahoga Valley National Park system. He is excited to find places to play squash, become a tutor, and practice photography, and he would appreciate recommendations on where to find his guilty pleasurecinnamon rolls. He also looks forward to meeting your children and forming lasting relationships to ensure a great dental experience each and every time they visit our office. Dr. Eric shares Dr. Vijs vision for Dentistry 4 Kids: to treat every patient like they are family.

Dentistry 4 kids is out of my insurance network. So anything beyond a normal cleaning and x-rays is not covered. However, I will gladly pay for the extras (sealing, fluoride, etc) in order for my child to be treated in a wonderful environment with professionals who truly base their practice around the comfort of their younger patients.

We have been taking our girls to Dentistry 4 Kids for almost 12 years. Our oldest "aged out but our youngest has no fear or hesitation going to her appointments. The doctor and staff are great at making her comfortable and at ease.
