Growing up, Dr. Hongs family moved around quite a bit, from South Korea to major cities throughout the United States. Finally, in 1993, they moved to Seattle, Washington, and decided to plant deep roots. During all this time, he learned about Dr. Albert Schweitzer, a physician that spent his time in Africa and devoted his life and career to providing aid to those in need. Dr. Hong knew that he wanted to follow in Dr. Schweitzers footsteps, and help others regain their health and relieve their pain.
He headed to University of Washington, where he received his Bachelors in Psychology before going to NYU Dental School. Of course, when his education was completed, he returned to Washington, so he could bring his unique brand of dental excellence to the place hes always felt most at home. When hes not in the office, youll find him spending time with his family, hiking when the weathers nice, or staying in and playing board games with the kids. He also enjoys golfing, running, and spinning to stay in shape.
