Dentistry and community are so important to me. I was born and raised in Phoenix and I am proud to support my local community through Radiant Family Dentistry. I fell in love with dentistry in high school after volunteering in a private dental office in Phoenix. I then pursued my passion at the prestigious University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco.
I always envisioned a life practicing in my home state and soon returned to Arizona to complete an Advanced Education of General Dentistry Residency in Tucson, where I was one of only six residents chosen for this advanced and highly esteemed program. There, I developed advanced clinical skills in restorative dentistry, advanced oral surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, fixed and removable prosthodontics (crowns, bridges, partials, and dentures), and cosmetic dentistry. After residency, I returned to practice in Phoenix and established Radiant Family Dentistry!
I have been married to the love of my life, Mark, since 10/23/2016. We spend time with our friends and families, enjoying game nights and potlucks. Mark grew up in the restaurant business throughout Mesa and Flagstaff and we love discovering and supporting our local restaurants. In addition, the endless supply of sunshine in Arizona gives us plenty of time for exploring and engaging in outdoor activities, like kayaking and hiking. We also love anything Disney, especially Marvel and Star Wars (hover over our picture to see what I mean!). Yep, we are fans!
When you walk through the doors at Radiant Family Dentistry, you will be greeted by my smiling face! I love making patients feel comfortable, whether it's their first time or their 50th time with us. My passion is to treat patients like family. I am originally from the Philadelphia area and have 30 years of experience in dentistry. After graduating from Manor College with an AA in dental assisting, I went on to receive my Expanded Functions Dental Assistant license, along with a Dental Radiology and Coronal Polishing certificate. I have worked as a dental consultant with Productive Dentist Academy and for Benco Dental as a CAD/CAM scanner trainer. Outside of the office, you can find me cycling or relaxing at the spa.
I have had the pleasure of being in the dental field for many years. What I enjoy most about dentistry is walking into a room and making my patient feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a passion for helping others and I enjoy building lasting relationships with all of our patients. As a member of Radiant Family Dentistry, I truly appreciate and love the exceptional care and amenities we provide all our patients.
I have been a hygienist since 2017 and graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, I moved to Phoenix on New Years day 2021 with my fianc Caleb, in search of continuous sunshine, new adventures, and warm weather. I have a passion for enriching the lives of my patients through sharing information and knowledge about best practices and simple habits for optimal oral and whole-body health. I take pride in making my patients feel comfortable through my bubbly spirit and outgoing personality.
In my free time, I enjoy reading suspense novels, watching NBA basketball games, and participating in cardio workout classes! Being the middle child of five, I have a close relationship with my brother and sisters. I also have an appreciation and understanding of various cultural norms thanks in part to my parents moving to America from Gambia, Africa in search of greater opportunities!

X-rays are used to help our dentists ensure accurate diagnoses and enhanced clinical safety. At Radiant Family Dentistry, we use 3D x-ray technology to expose our patients to less radiation, make the x-ray process quick and comfortable, and make your x-ray images available to Dr. Chan right away!
X-rays are an excellent tool used to diagnose oral health concerns, but an intraoral camera takes dental imaging technologies a step further. We use our intraoral camera to examine the deeper areas of our patients' mouths that x-rays cant show.
We use the iTero 3D Scanner to digitally scan the teeth into 3D models and take impressions for Invisalign clear braces and other custom-fitted smile treatments. This helps ensure our impressions are never sticky, messy, or uncomfortable. Instead, they are powered by seamless, non-invasive digital technologies!

Radiant Family Dentistry is amazing. I had my first visit and they were all so welcoming and kind. I was given a tour and introduced to team members right when I arrived. My hygienist explained every step she was taking during my cleaning and was so accommodating to my sensitive teeth. Dr Chan sat with me and educated me on the status of my teeth. When my appointment was over there was even a Welcome sign with my name on it. They went out of their way to help me and make sure I had everything I needed for my next appointment. I was there past 5 pm and they didn't make me feel like I was inconveniencing them or wasting their time. It was obvious they would take the time to make sure they answered all of my questions before I left, no matter what time it is. I am so happy I found this office and know I am in good hands in my next visit.

From the moment I saw the glowing sign on the front desk which said, "Welcome Manuel." I felt no tinge of plastic face smiles and a well-rehearsed glance in my direction. You'll find as I did the staff in this office are genuinely amiable and thoroughly professional. Here is a touch that shows the genuine desire of Dr. Christine Chans intent to make her clients feel the essence of her Family dentistry. While waiting for the hygienist to begin, I found myself thinking I am watching traffic coming and going--now that might sound like a big deal but when was the last time you looked up while waiting and were staring at nice a cold wall. Both treatment rooms face the street which means you can loosen your clenched fingers and relax and enjoy the pleasant view. This is the experience Dr. Christine Chan wants us all to feel. I am beyond thankful with the whole staff at Radiant Family Dentistry. Sheila was super friendly and had the best attitude when I walked in. Dr. Chan & her assistant Samantha are absolutely the best. I hate going to the dentist, but I felt so comfortable with them. I am excited to continue care with this office.

Dr Chan and the staff at Radiant Family Dentistry are all so kind and make me feel so comfortable every time I visit. I actually look forward to my visits, which I never thought I would say about going to the dentist! I would recommend their practice to everyone and only wish I had found them sooner!

Cannot say enough great things about this practice. From Shelia at the front desk who is so welcoming and efficient, to the dental hygienist and Doctor. Really great staff. They are thorough and explain everything in detail, excellent care!!!!! They came as a recommendation from a friend and I would highly recommend them as well. No wonder they have a perfect 5.0 rating!

Second procedure here and I am so grateful for Dr. Chan. She is so good, I have never had my bite tested so much. She made sure I was completely happy with it. The whole staff is friendly and does an amazing job.
