Dr. Ivan has been in practice for over 30 years, emphasizing cosmetic & rehabilitation dentistry in a multi-specialty group practice in Elmhurst, Illinois. Patients needing complex, comprehensive or multi-disciplinary rehabilitation dentistry or a cosmetic dentist's advanced skills & cosmetic experience would benefit from his training. With over 4000 hours of continuing education, Dr. Ivan is committed to life-long learning. He is a certified Toastmaster & professional speaker, has spoken publicly & professionally often & has written numerous articles for professional & lay journals & newspapers. He has also contributed on local radio & T.V. regarding a variety of clinical & practice management topics. He is a graduate of several practice management programs & has obtained education in business and training in marketing & communication.
Dr. Ivan was recently awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, was named one of DCA's Top 100 Doctors for 2019, & is now a Board Certified Diplomate for the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (ABDSM). The ABDSM is the leading national organization for dentists who treat snoring & obstructive sleep apnea with oral appliance therapy. Earning Diplomate status from the ABDSM is a unique honor that recognizes particular competency in dental sleep medicine.
While he has a passion for dentistry & often 'photoshoots' his 'Smile Makeover' patients, family comes first, & he enjoys celebrating his daughters ' many achievements after graduating from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. He is currently serving in his sixth year on Vanderbilt 's Parent & Teacher board. In his spare time, Dr. Ivan has recently discovered K1 racing & the incredibly challenging yet relaxing golf hobbyhe regularly shoots in the low to mid 80 's!

Kim has over 20 years of experience in both, spa and medical settings offering a wide range of skincare services. Kim is passionate about educating her patients and enjoys making them look and feel their best. I promise, you will not leave a session without fully understanding your daily skincare regimen.
Kim is a graduate from the New Age Spa Institute and is also a member of the Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP). Throughout the years, she has received numerous certifications in microdermabrasion, microneedling, dermaplaning, medical grade facials/chemical peels, and various laser treatments. Kim has extensive knowledge in skincare product lines and can help determine the best option for you. She will also point you in the right direction when choosing the appropriate treatment plan to exceed your personal goals.
One particular area of focus & research for Dr. Valcarenghi is sleep disorders. He has spoken to professionals & the public to understand the underlying physiology of sleep disorders, an area of growing incidence & sophistication of treatment for patients.
Dr. Valcarenghi obtained his master's degree in public health (MPH) from Loma Linda University Medical Center in California, researching pulmonary exercise physiology, nutrition & preventive medicine. The physiology of respiration is of particular interest as it relates to the upper airways in concert with the lower airways & how poor physiology of sleep results in system diseases, not to mention neurologic deficits and obesity, which often exacerbates the underlying sleep disorder.
As one of the North State Sleep Lab principles, he has a veritable wealth of experience in Sleep Disordered Breathing or SDB. We are delighted to add Dr. Valcarenghi's wealth of knowledge & expertise to Radiant as a consulting physician.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ivan and Dr. Kathy for over 25 years. That alone should be enough of a recommendation but the reason this practice is so amazing is how caring and talented they are! They truly take your dental needs to heart - they are gentle and understand how to deal with unique situations when they arise. They always take the time to find out how life has been, what is new, and is there any special needs that should be addressed. They are truly wonderful people!

I love Radiante this is the first time I have written a google review for anyone but it's deserving. I had nothing but a great experience while going to see Dr. Ivan and Renata. Their team was great and they did such a great job explaining everything that they were doing and listening to what I had to say. They kept me calm during all of my appointments and answered all of my questions. After seeing many dentist I can say Dr. Ivan and his team are the best I have seen and I will continue to go there and would highly recommended them to anyone.

When a frontal denture broke off, I needed quick, expert help for a replacement but was relatively new to the Chicago area and as yet did not have a full-service dentist. Thanks to a friend's recommendation I promptly got an appointment with Dr. Ivan; his subsequent artistry was impressive enough that I decided to entrust Radiante with all dental needs. Unlike some visits to a dentist's office, going to Radiante is most pleasant. Staff is very cordial, totally down-to-earth but thoroughly professional, and there are no waits. Ambiance is all about "Welcome!" and the office is equipped with state-of-the-art. And, I've never met a hygienist with more expertise or interesting, educational knowledge to convey. They're a good group.....

When we go in for our dental cleanings, we are greeted warmly and professionally, we never have to wait, any issues that arise for our dental health are always addressed quickly. If we are referred to another doctor we are confidant that we are in capable and knowledgeable hands because Radiante Dental cares enough about their patients to make sure the next dental professional will extend the same quality of care to their patients.

When in for a cleaning and was attended to by Dr Kathy. She was fast and it was pain free. I have had a variety of procedures there and not one was completed without very professional care. They explain everything before it happens so you don't get surprised!

Highly, highly recommended!! As someone else already mentioned, it does feel like a family when you visit their office. Dr. Ivan Valcarenghi has been my dentist for almost a decade now and I have to say it's by far the best experience I have ever had with a dentist. Beyond the excellent dentistry work he's providing he is also educating the patients about oral hygiene as well as other areas of your overall health and quality of life connected with oral care. Dr. Ivan and his wife Dr. Kathy are also taking care of all the dental work for my kids and wife. Very patient, kind and always careful. And the cherry on top is Nikki the office manager with her positive attitude and attention to detail. Thank you

i have been seeing dr. kathy and dr. ivan for over 17 years and i feel like one of their family members. i had my entire mouth redone with porcelain veneers and have been very happy with all the work that they have done in all of the years. when i need to see them with a problem, they always take care of me asap. need good advice on what to do with big dental problems, dr. ivan and dr. kathy always see that i go to the right place for what i need. the staff is also very nice and do good work also. nicki the scheduling person is very nice and makes sure everything runs like clockwork. awesomr team !!

Dr. Ivan and his staff were amazing! The office was immaculate and clean! This was my first visit to the office for a facial with Samantha and she was fantastic. She took everything into consideration, and all COVID procedures were top notch! The facial was outstanding as well as the atmosphere! The office is so clean and to high standards as a dental spa should be! Nikki, the office manager was excellent and professional, answered any questions I had. I certainly will be back for my next facial in February! I think this could be a new place to call home for dental and facial~ what a great concept!

Dr Ivan is the best dentist I've ever worked with. His cosmetic skillset is unmatched and hes one heck of a great guy too. Feels like family when you are a patient here. Recently Radiante moved into a state of the art space and expanded their services to include a day spa. I received my first facial from Michelle and it was glorious. Cant wait to return. She is awesome. I highly recommend Radiante, once you go to them, it will be difficult to ever step foot into another dentist office.
