I strongly believe that educators illuminate the path for others to grow, develop, and prosper. This belief was the driver behind my long-term commitment to serving as an Assistant Professor in the Graduate Department of Orthodontics at the University at Buffalo, prior to moving to private practice in Florida.
I am blessed with a loving family. My wife of more than 25years, Marah, and I have three children: D.J. is in middle school, Z.J. is preparing to graduate from University of South Florida, and O.J.is medicalstudent at LECOM-Bradenton, in Flroida. We had moved to Tampa in late 2005 from Buffalo,NY, to be closer to family and friends, and immediately fell in love withTampa Bay area and all that it offers!
My commitment to education never waivered, and I have been fortunate to be able to support our local schools on several levels, from PTA business partnerships, to student scholarships emphasizing community service. I was also privileged to be admitted as a board member of the Education Foundation of the Learning Gate Community School in Lutz, Florida. I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to participate in supporting our children prepare for their bright and successful futures.
'Givers Gain' is a concept I live by and uphold, and I found it well respected in the BNI business group, of which I am proud to be a member, belonging toBusiness Leaders Chapter in New Tampa. BNI thrives on connecting people together to help communities and businesses in the same time.
When Im not wearing my Orthodontist hat, Im often at home helping around the house in my handy man role. Recently, I found myself gravitating to the backyard where I get a great deal of pleasure in gardening. I love the outdoors and can frequently be found hiking, biking,or just meditating lakeside.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.
Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets and, in some cases, the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great time to wear braces!
Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years, depending on several factors, including age, treatment method, and how minor or severe your case is. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

Dr. Jureyda has been extraordinary. He has a way with kids to help them understand how important it is to take care of your teeth! He has a wonderful staff that will help you in every way possible and treat you like your family and not just a patient, I love that they take care of the whole family as well!

Super clean and comfortable environment, with really amiable staff! The vibrant green and orange of the office, as well as the frequent wall decor, made the office feel welcoming. Dr.J made everything clear and easy as could be. Overall was made a pleasant experience

Absolutely not only the greatest Orthodontist, but genuinely one of the nicest, most caring, and compassionate men I have ever had the privilege to meet. My son adores him! The staff is also very friendly and caring. I would recommend Dr. Jureyda a million times to anyone. I have never seen this level of care anywhere. Thank you to Dr. J and his wonderful staff for taking such great care of my son and for being so sweet and accommodating to me. You all are a blessing.

My little one had appt for evaluation for spacers. Dr J and his staff were so friendly. He took his time to explain the process, he made my daughter, my husband and myself so very comfortable. We felt extremely happy leaving his office knowing that he will take the greatest of care of our child. If I could give 10 stars I would. He could teach a class on how to treat patients. Coming from a health insurance background he sets the standard high for what care should be.

Absolutely love this orthodontist! Both of my kids just began going to him and we have received nothing but great service. Update! We are now on our 3rd kid to begin with Dr.J and still HE is the best! Highly Recommend.

Dr. Jureyda has been nothing short of extraordinary. I have a really hard case, and Dr. J came up with a viable solution. No other orthodontist before him has come up with the treatment plan that he did. He seems to be up to date on his research. I showed other professionals in the dentistry field his treatment plan and everyone liked it. Also, every periodontist that has contacted Dr. J regarding my case has told me that they like him too & one asked me, "how did you find him?" Lol.

My daughter had an emergency that needed to be taken care of, and I was advised to go see Dr. J. I drove from Orlando to Tampa to Radiance Dental (almost 2 hours). Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the front desk staff, and waited a very short waiting time. We sat with Dr. J who explained everything thoroughly, with patience and detail. I had dozens of questions and concerns, to which he answered thoughtfully and with consideration. I'm very happy that I drove that distance, because my daughter left the office talking about how nice Dr. J is, and how she no longer feared going to the orthodontist. Dr. J is kind, gentle, detail oriented, and his office is impeccably clean. All of his staff are super nice, and cheerful which is a very important first impression. If you live in Tampa, or are fine driving a bit further out, I highly recommend Radiance Orthodonticts. You won't be disappointed!
