Rachmelowitz Jodie DDS

1540 NJ-138, Belmar, NJ 07719

In addition, Dr. Rachmelowitz volunteered at John C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix to treat under-privileged children. She also gave lectures to school nurses on 'Dental Emergencies in School Aged Children' and performed dental health screening exams at public elementary schools in low income areas. Another point of service that she provided was comprehensive dental examinations for the United States Armed Forces to help screen for potential dental emergencies prior to our service men and women being deployed overseas.

On returning home to New Jersey, Dr. Rachmelowitz opened her own practice that would incorporate some of the western philosophies with the eastern core of her education. In fact, her new office reflects the serenity of Arizona with a touch of New Jersey, integrating earth tone colors and smooth music for the perfect mix.

To keep current with continuing education, Dr. Rachmelowitz takes advanced level courses with respected and accomplished experts including Dr. Frank Spear at the Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Education, Seattle, WA. She has also attended courses by Cosmetic experts including Dr. Larry Rosenthal of the Rosenthal Institute and Dr. Bill Dorfman, famous for his work on ABC 's hit show, 'Extreme Makeover'.

According to Dr. Jodi Rachmelowitz, 'My patients deserve to understand their current level of dental health. The most rewarding part of my profession is taking motivated patients to optimal dental health and then improving their smiles cosmetically. We work together to allow them to acquire and maintain their smile for a lifetime. She adds, 'I know that I can help patients look better, feel better, and enhance their quality of life. By explaining in detail the patient 's existing state of oral health and options for treatment, my patients can better understand and participate in their treatment planning. Together, we can 'Capture the Smile of Health.'

Outside the office, Dr. Jodi Rachmelowitz enjoys volunteering with JDRF, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, to help find a cure for the millions of people who suffer from Juvenile Diabetes. Dr. Rachmelowitz has been active with the organization since 2004. Above Left is a photo from the JDRF Annual Gala in 2010, 'A Night in Oz', and Above Right is a photo from the 2012 Gala, 'A Race for the Cure'. Each year, the fundraising event helps raise awareness and provides opportunity for many communities to join together to fight for a single cuase.

As someone who had past experiences with dentists that made me afraid of any sort of dental work, Dr. Rachmelowitz is one of a kind. The moment I stepped into the office she made me feel completely at ease and I knew I was in good hands. She is kind, explained the work I needed honestly and in great detail, and answered every question I had.

The kindest, most patient dentist ever! I used to HATE going to the dentist prior to seeing Dr. Rachmelowitz ... it's been years now and I just love going to my vists! Such a calming personality that made my dentist fear disappear.
