Dr. Callaway was born and raised outside of Philadelphia, PA. As a young child, her parents owned and ran a bakery in West Philadelphia where she spent much time sneaking tastes of cake batter and subsequently learning the value of good brushing habits! Dr. Callaway has three brothers and one sister who all still live in the Philadelphia area.
Dr. Callaway first moved to California in 2004 after graduating college and being offered a consulting position with a large commercial insurance carrier in Orange, CA. The company moved her to the Bay Area in 2005 where she met her husband, Matt, who was also originally from PA. After almost five years with her prior company, she realized her passion was for dentistry at which time she went back to school in Philadelphia. Dr. Callaway attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine on a Deans Scholarship. She further continued her education through a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. Having fallen in love with the Bay Area, she and her husband always knew they would return to the Bay Area and have now settled in Clayton, CA.
Dr. Callaway has a passion for serving patients to the best of her ability. She believes every patient has the right to excellent, informed dental care and the greatest quality of oral health desired by the patient. She loves getting to know people and sharing experiences.
Dr. Callaway and her husband have a four-year-old son, two-year-old daughter and a silky terrier. They love watching their children grow, develop and learn about their world. Together with her family, she spends her time outside of the office traveling, baking, walking the dogs and playing bocce ball.
