Dr. Barnhart is passionate about helping patients of all ages live happier, healthier lives through dentistry thats optimized to treat the patient as a whole. She was fascinated at a young age with her own dentist, and since she was 11-years-old, she dreamed of helping others as a dentist herself.
As a 2014 Graduate of the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni, School of Dentistry, Dr. Barnhart brings over ten years of clinical experience to her practice. She strives to educate and treat patients of all ages with excellent general and airway-focused dentistry. When not working to keep her patients happy and healthy, shes often found spending time with her family or outside being active.

I can't say enough good things about the entire staff. I was nervous about my appt but as soon as I walked in I was treated so kindly that my stress was already starting to disappear. Then the professional staff started my procedures and put me so at ease. Every single one of you were so kind and professional. My experience was so different than what I expected. You all gave me knowledge of how to improve my dental care. I learned how to floss and brush that I have done wrong all these years! Thank you everyone for making me comfortable!

I first met Dr. Rachel Barnhart when she took over Dr. Parmely's practice. I am 71 years old and have known many dentists during my lifetime. I must say, Dr. Barnhart is the friendliest and most competent dentist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is a highly skilled and knowledgeable dentist and her staff is as friendly and skilled at their duties as she is. I highly recommend Dr. Barnhart's services.

Rachel Barnhart and her team are incredibly knowledgeable and resourced providers. I highly recommend consulting with them if you have concerns regarding your airway. They are incredibly knowledgeable in airway health and how tethered oral tissues affect overall health and wellness. If your dentist isn't talking about airway but talking about a revision- run and run to Rachel and her team.

Wow! I have never been to a dental office that was so through. They were very informative. I personally don't like going to a dentist (who does), but it was a peaceful office and the people were all so nice.

Dr. Barnhart and her staff are an amazing group of professionals here in Redding. My 6 month old son suffered from very poor sleep quality (waking hourly or more), poor breastfeeding habits (frustration, pulling off, leaking at the mouth, open mouth posture and snoring to name a few issues). After having his tongue tie clipped at my request with our family doctor, I saw no change and thought I was going crazy. After finally finding research on OMT (Oral Myofunctional Therapy) I googled and thankfully found Dr. Barnhart. She diagnosed him with a set of severe tongue and lip ties (the tongue had grown back due to lack of education regarding aftercare). She was able to successfully clip both and she educated us on OMT for infants and we have seen such an improvement in our son's sleep quality and overall quality of life. Not only that, but working with her staff was a dream: they were the most professional and caring staff, with promptness and patient care at their core. You can tell they all enjoy what they do and are passionate about helping others. I am so thankful we found this team here in our town. I would recommend her to everyone I know.

By far THE BEST dentist in town. I had a bad tooth that needed fixing asap, they got me in for emergency same day, and helped me through the everything even with my horrible anxiety of the dentist. The staff is super friendly and personable, I couldn't ask for a better dentist!

Dr. Barnhart and her team are top notch. My 6 year old daughter loves going here so much she wants to be a dentist when she grows up. My 8 year old daughter recently went to have work done, this is what she had to say. - I really liked it there,when i got there and i sat down And they started working on my teeth it did not hurt At all,that's why i give it a five star, and everyone was really nice to me.

Finding a new dentist when you move can be a little intimidating. I'm so glad I went to Dr. Rachel's office. The front desk staff was welcoming and friendly, the hygienist Abby helped me feel at ease and Dr. Rachel was very helpful and informative. And the office dog is adorable. They made me feel like family and I can't recommend them enough.
