Dental implants are modern tooth replacement solutions composed of three parts. The top is a dental crown that provides aesthetics in your smile as well as biting and chewing ability. Since dental implants are tooth replacement solutions, we will need to remove your failing, broken or diseased tooth first before we can place the implant post. In some cases, we will need to restore bone volume to this area before implants can be placed and in other situations, we may be able to place the implant the same day as your extraction!
Your jawbone is what supports your dental implant and holds it firmly in place. It is important to have adequate bone volume before placement to ensure success. Bone grafting allows our doctors to restore lost bone to help you qualify for implant placement.

Growing up in the Bronx with four siblings, Dr. Ken was taught that family was the most important part of life. They taught him to work hard, care about people, love life and enjoy all the happiness the world has to offer. These are the lessons he brought to his studies at American University and then in his research at the FDA, which preceded attending Dental School at NYU. After moving to Connecticut and taking over Dr. Fischers practice in Stratford, Dr. Ken became involved in various Dental Associations in the area and continued to find ways to be a part of his new community. He continues to take courses regularly and stay abreast of new developments in dentistry, always staying true to himself and stressing the importance of relationships. He gets to know his patients, their families, their interests, and he is able to set them at ease so that they enjoy walking into the office each time they visit. Dr. Ken has a wealth of experience and enthusiasm and continues to find great happiness in the work that he does everyday.
My family was a big influence on me and helped me be the man, husband, grandfather, and dentist that I am today. I fell in love with my wife in my first year of dental school- it was love at first sight when we met on a blind date. Soon after I graduated we moved up to Stratford, CT where Ive practiced for over 40 years. During that time I have watched my three children grow up to become outstanding adults. They are all married, and I now have 5 grandkids whom I absolutely adore! It is such a privilege to work side by side with my son and as you can imagine, I couldnt be more proud.
Dr. Dustin Rabine knew he wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps at the age of 16. After graduating NYU College of Dentistry he completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Dustin could be described as caring, knowledgeable, and innovative, with a disarming sense of humor. These characteristics are what make his office inviting and comfortable for returning patients and families, attracting new patients along the way. He prides himself on listening to his patients and devotes his time to understanding and treating each of his patients individual needs. To many, he is not just their dentist, he becomes their friend- always treating them like they are his own family. Dr. Dustin provides a comprehensive list of services, continually pushing himself to learn new procedures and technologies because he truly enjoys improving smiles and restoring quality of life. Not many people can say they love what they do for a living. Dr. Dustin can, and he says it with a smile.
I love getting to know my patients and creating a relaxed atmosphere and satisfying experience. I especially love combining cosmetic and surgical procedures as it can change a patients life and restore their ability to smile confidently.
Dr. Jillian Bernstein is the perfect addition to Rabine Family Dentistry. Having grown up with two sisters, both of which are also Doctors, she brings a pedigree of both academic success and professionalism. But it is her soft touch, engaging personality and quality skills that make Dr. Bernstein truly stand out. She prides herself in establishing a natural rapport with her patients, emphasizing patient comfort and communications as the cornerstone of her practice.
Every day, I am proud to say that I love my job. The field of dentistry has allowed me to combine my passions for science, art, and improving the lives of my patients. Forming lifelong relationships and seeing my patients leave the office with a big smile on their face makes me excited to come to work everyday!

Every visit to Rabine Family Dentistry is always exceptional! The staff is all so friendly. The office is impeccably clean. I get a great, thorough cleaning from Emily, and great advice about my teeth. I love everyone there and would recommend them to anyone!

I broke my tooth & thanks to Annie I got a same day appointment with Dr Jillian. I saw her for the 1st time, since I usually see Dr Ken or Dr Dustin. She was Wonderful! She explained my options thoroughly, even using sample props to show me what would be done. Annie again got me on the next day schedule for my procedure & helped me by faxing the needed form to my primary doctor. I love The staff at Rabine Family Dentistry! They truly treat you like family!

Our son chipped a couple teeth at closing time. We called Dr Rabine and he took my son immediately and kept his office open for us! He repaired his teeth and they look great. The staff and customer service is top notch. My son looks and feels great. I highly recommend this practice.

I was pleasantly surprised to find what I'd been anticipating would be a positive experience with this dental group. I deliberately picked them out of like 35 choices. They're kind, courteous, competent and professional! Dr Dustin Rabine has a delicate touch, great for a 1st time root canal, looking forward to great consistent oral care, cleanings, exams, etc. I am also quite fond of Diane B. She is competent and such a real sweetheart! Great folks to get to know better all in all! Dr Rabine SR is a really nice gentleman and a consummate professional as well... PS: I love my Dental care goodie bag!

I went for my six month check up today. I'm not the best patient, and my nerves kick in if I even think about making a dental appointment. However, from the minute I walked in, the receptionists were welcoming, and I was soon greeted by Julia, one of the hygienists. I explained my fears, and she immediately put me at ease. She did a thorough overall cleaning, and polishing and then I met briefly with Dr. Rabine, who was also very kind and professional. I highly recommend this dental practice.

Honestly, I wouldn't be going regularly to the dentist again, if it wasn't for this place. I just went through an extraction, implant, and crown, and it couldn't have been easier. No apprehension, drama, or pain. I always knew exactly what to expect. Thank you!
