Dr. Mike was born and raised in the Baton Rouge area. He graduated from Central Private High School after which he pursued both his Bachelors and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees at Louisiana State University. He is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Dental Association, American Dental Association, Continuing Dental Education of Baton Rouge, Louisiana Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Mike, like his brother Dr. Brett, shares the same passion and has had much of the same elite training. Beyond his DDS degree, Dr. Mike has extensively continued his education. He is a *Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD), a **Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI), a graduate of the LSUSD Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum, and a graduate and ***Fellow of the world-renowned Temple Misch International Implant Institute (FMIII), where he took multiple seminars in prosthetics, surgery, temple surgery, advanced bone grafting, complete dentistry (taught by world-renowned dental educator Peter Dawson, DDS) and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders (taught by Mark Piper, MD, DDS). A graduate of the Six Month Smiles adult orthodontics certified him to provide orthodontic treatment using Clear Correct clear braces. Dr. Mike is a member of the Courtesy Staff at Lane Memorial Hospital, and has completed a course in internal conscious sedation and medical emergencies. Obtaining a permit through the Louisiana State Board of Dentistry allows him to provide conscious sedation on children and adults. Dr. Michael has completed hundreds of additional hours in other courses covering all aspects of general dentistry. This is a commitment to a lifelong of learning in the dental field. On average he completes 50 hours per year over the state minimum requirements for continuing education standards.

Unprofessional, the doctor doesn't talk to you and explains nothing. The visit for my mom. This is how the nurse wrote what my moms needed on the back of the card appointment. My mom was in pain they don't even describe pain medicine or antibiotics treatment for root canals . They left her to leave in pain. The nurse only does light cleaning and X-ray and non explain any other options she said to pay half first to take appointments and that was all the explanation she told us.

Rabel Dental is an excellent dental clinic. The hygienists are polite, friendly, and above all, compassionate. Although I was a reluctant patient, everyone was kind and wanted to make my experience stress-free. When I need work done, I'm a complete mess, but Dr. Mike Rabel was wonderfully kind. I truly felt heard and supported. They are also quite cautious with covid, so I felt very secure. Go see them, you won't be disappointed.

It was a bad experience I didn't get a print out of what I payed for and I didn't get what I came for I went to get a feeling putting my tooth and to get a fitting from my partial after the dentist started on the tooth for the filling he said Houston we have a problem have to putting the hole in my tooth he left out the room after a while a lady came into the room and she said I needed a root canal so she started giving me prices and I told her that I didn't have that kind of money on me so I'm stuck at a dentist with no counseling pretty much not anything explain to me the right way with a hole in my tooth telling me what I have to pay in order to get out of the place at the end of the day around 2:00 the dentist came back in another room they put me in and I think he put a crown on the teeth or a feeling I don't know what it was they didn't explain anything to me when he finish he left the room the other assistance came in to do a partial the lady came back in again in that room and said they had to do a root canal before they can do a partial not to do a fitting until I get a root canal so I left out of the dentist paying $750 I think Plus $836 I had paid before then and not having any printout of what they did and why it cost what it cost so I have to go back and see can I get a printout

Felt rushed. The dental hygienist barely cleaned my teeth and the dentist never even showed me his face. Was in and out in a flash without taking his time to show me any concern. I felt like I was on a manufacturing line. Customer services and quality of dental care is poor. I'm changing dentists.

Called Dr. Rabel to remove a wisdom tooth the day before my flight back to LAX. Had no availability by the books!!! STILL, they told me to sit in, and he could squeeze me in, which the my did! Removed it in 15 minutes, pain free for my flight. Thank you guys!

Every time I visit, I wait over an hour just to get my teeth cleaned and people who come in after me always somehow go to the back before me. They need to do better because that is unacceptable!! Do not recommend 0/10.

We were greeted upon entry and the staff was very helpful and polite.. the checking process was very easy. The lounge was clean, the place was well lit. The wait time was not long at all. I love the fact that they take us all back as a family together. Princess was very good with my kiddos. They had a very good experience with the X-rays and the teeth cleaning. Everyone was cool and didn't have any complaints. Dr. Michael is amazing with the kiddos. We love the fact that he is so gentle and patient with them. Wyatt was nervous but he made him comfortable enough to open is mouth and let him check him out. Kenn got his teeth cleaned and Rebecca was very nice and pleasant. They let Kenn know everything he needed done on his next appointment. So now it's my turn to get a cleaning. Rebecca was very nice and she did my teeth cleaning. I have a hole in the back of tooth that's hurting right now so let's see if I'm getting it repaired today. I need a couple of things done to get my mouth straight and Dr. Rabel and I have talked and devised a great plan to get me where I need to be so let's geaux I'm an ready. This experience was even greater than the first. When I tell y'all..... I'm an so thankful he fixed my minor imperfections from the first time. Due to Covid that year everything was shut down. I had a tooth that broke, one cracked and the other chipped off... So long story short the teeth were very sensitive to me brushing, eating and drinking. Now that they are fixed I have no problems!!!!! Also the other waiting room was clean and neat plus, bathrooms were clean too. I do recommend them to family and friends.. don't take my word for it come and see for yourself..

I went in to get my teeth cleaned and was told I need a filling and went in two days later to get the filling and couldn't eat for weeks after that now I have to go to another dentist to get my mouth fixed cause I have unbearable nerve pain that they refusing to fix.
