Founded by Dr. Ronald Rabe in 1953, Rabe Family Dentistry has been a part of the Hillsboro community for over 65 years! In 1985, Dr. Ronalds sons, Randall (Dr. Randy) and Bradford (Dr. Brad), joined the practice after graduating from the OHSU School of Dentistry. In 2018 Dr. Randy retired, and Dr. Stefanie Beckley joined the practice. Today, Dr. Brad and Dr. Stefanie, along with our wonderful patient care team, continue to serve our patients and strive to provide the best quality of dental care to every patient that visits our office.
Sonja earned her X-Ray and Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification from NW Dental Institute in 2004 and has been a part of the Rabe Family Dentistry team for 15 years. Sonja has enjoyed getting to know patients all these years, making them feel comfortable, and helping them with their dental needs.
Nicole grew up on a farm outside of Salem. In 2007 she graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and has been with Rabe Family Dentistry since that same year. Nicole loves being able to help people and build relationships with patients by working with them one on one to improve and maintain their oral and overall health in a positive environment.
Rachel is new to the Hillsboro area, she is an Oregon native growing up in Roseburg. She has been in the dental field since 2002 when she achieved her dental radiology license. In 2004 Rachel attended Oregon Institute of Technology receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene and in 2017 completed her Masters Degree in Health Education. Rachel is dedicated to continuing education courses, helping provide her patients with the best care and experience possible. She was an active member with American Dental Association for years. Her experiences not only include working in private practices but working with an astounding non-profit dental organization that serves children who are less fortunate. Rachel also had the privilege to volunteer her time in a small town in Mexico where she helped provide free dental care.
In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her family and loves baking and cooking. I feel very blessed to be part of an amazing dental practice where patients are treated like family.
Trish has been part of RFD for 14 years. She does a little bit of everything! Insurance, front office, accounts, etc. Previously a bartender, in her off time she helps a friend with her catering business. She also coaches a girls water-polo team and loves it! Her favorite part of working at RFD is building relationships with patients and learning a bit about everyone that walks through the door.
Ingrid has been with Rabe Family Dentistry for over 10 years. Shes the niece of Drs. Brad and Randy and was really excited at the opportunity to be part of the family business! Her mother, Lynelle, was the office manager for 27 years and she hopes to follow suit.
Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Brittany has returned to our office after taking time off to raise her two young boys. She is one of the first people you see when you enter the office and will always greet you with a warm smile and positive attitude. She has worked in the dental field for six years, 2 of those at Rabe Family Dentistry.When she isnt working, she enjoys the outdoors, spending time with her family, and adventuring along the Oregon Coast.
Kellie has worked in the dental field for 12 years. She was an assistant for 7 years and then transitioned to the front desk. Her warm smile and passion for her job make her a wonderful addition to our team!
Dr. Brad is a lifelong Hillsboro resident. Born the sixth child to Dr. Ronald C. Rabe and Valerie B. Rabe, he is a 1976 graduate of Hillsboro High School. After obtaining his Bachelors degree from Portland State University in 1980, Dr. Brad attended Oregon Health & Sciences Universitys School of Dentistry in Portland. Following his graduation from OHSU in 1984, he began practicing dentistry with both his father, Ronald, and his brother, Dr. Randall C. Rabe.
Dr. Brad took up residence in Hillsboro, purchasing a home in town that he actually helped his sister and brother-in-law frame while he was in college. He became involved in local civic organizations, as well as the Washington County Dental Society, the Oregon Dental Association, and the American Dental Association. He played in local Parks and Recreation sports leagues and had the very good fortune to meet Miss Trisha Warren while playing co-ed volleyball.
Brad and Trish fell in love, were married in 1995, and had their first child, Ronald, in 1996. Approximately 19 months later, they were blessed with a daughter, Tyler Marissa, in 1998. With their growing
family, Brad and Trish purchased and remodeled his parents family home south of Hillsboro, where they continue to live today. Only minutes from his office, it is the perfect country getaway from the day to day stresses of owning and operating a small business.
Over the last 35 years, Dr. Brad has treated thousands of patients, performed tens of thousands of procedures, and has built a reputation for being a kind, gentle, communicative, and caring practitioner of exceptional quality dentistry. He has taken over a thousand hours of continuing education and has kept abreast on current materials, products, and procedures in his profession.
Dr. Brad and Trishas son, Ron, is now a first-year dental student at OHSU, where he is excelling. He is slated to graduate and join Rabe Family Dentistry in 2022. Their daughter, Tyler, is completing her undergraduate degree at Oregon State University, and is pursuing a career in nursing.Dr. Brad continues to enjoy the nuts and bolts of dental treatment and (as he has for decades) recognizes that the patients the people are THE best thing about practicing dentistry. Forming relationships, watching children grow to adulthood (and perhaps bringing in THEIR children as patients!), are, to him, the most rewarding aspect of a continually rewarding career.
Dr. Stefanie is an Oregon native who began her career in dentistry in 1995 as a dental assistant. She went on to become a dental hygienist after graduating from Lane Community College in 1999. After practicing for 10 years, she decided to pursue dentistry and graduated from the OHSU School of Dentistry in 2015. She enjoys all aspects of restorative dentistry and believes there is tremendous value in having a beautiful, healthy smile that leads to fuller, healthier, and happier lives for her patients! She values continuing education and is committed to providing excellent patient care with the most current and innovative techniques. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association, and Oregon Academy of General Dentistry. She currently sits on the board of the Oregon Academy of General Dentistry where she assists in organizing educational events for other Dentists. She is also working toward a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Lastly, Dr. Stefanie has committed to graduating from the Kois Center, a world-renowned, evidence-based dental teaching center in Seattle.
Outside the office, Dr. Stefanie enjoys being a mother to her two boys and being involved with their schools and extracurricular activities. She enjoys time with friends and family, running, hiking, and pretty much anything that involves being outside in beautiful Oregon!

Very uncomfortable situation happened while getting work with Dr. Rabe. I had insurance to cover a filling while my XRAY had come back needing additional work. The filling process came out fine however, I found it strange he needed to state his arms MAY rest close too lower shoulder areas, (usually denstist work over you). Once finished he suggested we HUG as he made it clear he desires being personable with his clients Rabe wanted to meet CLOSE TO AFTER HIS SHIFT next day. for a game plan..and after checking in he took me to his office in the back NOT OK because while.back there he poured himself wine (with door shut and told me that its a insurance game we will play..I offered to pay out of pocket but he assured me he had done this before....awkward sip...After confirming that either way works for mee I got up and left !! ive told my family who confirmed they dont gets hugs from him....and will be going to board of dentistry..

If I could give more stars I would! Never having had a better experience with any dentist than the one I had with DR. Stefanie. She is a perfectionist when it comes to her craft and also isn't happy with the work done until you love it as well. Keeping the clients needs and desires for what their teeth look like aesthetically all at the top of her priorities as well as being realistic with what can be done. She's one of a kind and will make your experience in her chair comfortable with each time you sit in it. Don't walk, run and make an appointment with her - you will not regret it.

I had been just getting ready to move out of the state, and then one of my teeth broke. I visited Dr Rabe because of the good reviews, and I have to say that I was blown away, even with the reviews! His attention to detail, general kindness and demeanor, and willingness to go the extra mile for a good patient outcome was obvious the entire time, even though there was no incentive of me becoming a long-term patient. I've had good dentists and bad dentists, and my experience here was one of the most comfortable and happy ones that I think you could possibly get from a dentist, considering the circumstances that usually lead you to visit them. Would very highly recommend his services to anyone hesitant to visit a dentist, he is extremely good at explaining what he's doing and going slowly and deliberately to make sure the patient is comfortable and isn't in pain. He, as well as the other staff who were also delightful, worked with me every step of the way and made sure that everything was taken care of. Can't say enough good things!

Had been looking for new dentist prior to Covid and had put it on hold. Met Trish and was recommended this amazing place. Signed my 3 kids, hubby and myself up and have been super impressed. Not only do I appreciate the thorough experience and service but they make sure you understand and explain every step of the way. And even more amazing is how they educate my teens in a way that they listen and take the advice to keep those teeth on point! Thank you Rabe Family dentistry!

ABSOLUTELY % BEST DENTAL OFFICE ANYWHERE. Not only are the office staff AMAZING, but the Doctors here are so precise & EXTREMELY careful to make sure your procedures are better than best! Dr. Stephanie's expertise & chair side manner are the BEST I've ever experienced. I had a medical condition that caused spasms in my body whenever it chooses & Dr. Stephanie was more than accommodating! I, would not of had her patience to deal with me & my condition. She is an angel with a light-band on her head instead of a halo I actually look forward to going to the dentist now. It truly is a family affair! We should all be so lucky to have a family like the Rabe Dental Family You will NOT be sorry. seeing Dr. Stephanie or any of the family! HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I have nothing but good things to say about Rabe family dentistry. Dr. Stephanie is my primary and she is AMAZING!! She listens to every concern you have about your teeth and try's her best to find a way to help, whether it's cosmetic (like straightening) or not she has your personal interest and comfort in mind. All of the staff here are amazingly friendly and always make you feel safe and welcome. If you are looking for a new dentist that you can be 100% comfortable with, this is the place to go!!
