Cannot say I've been ever been more upset with an experience at a dentists office. As a healthcare provider myself I cannot believe the way I was spoken to about a concern from Dr. Scanlon. It really said a lot about him and his attitude toward his patients. Prior to this I never had any issues but it was uncalled for and I hope NO ONE is ever talked to like that as a concerned patient. I was told I was worrying about something that was so "minut" and was acting like I had been diagnosed with cancer or something and THEN being told I needed mental help! I'm disgusted! The front desk group was great but that's really all I can say. I will Never be going back!

Dr. Scanlon is the best dentist by far, hate he moved away from Mississippi years ago. Seriously debating on driving 8 hours for an appt.

Everyone was so nice. Best experience I've ever had at a dental office! I was super nervous because the dentist freaks me out and I hadn't been in over ten years. They worked with me we got a realistic game plan and solution for my dental issues.

My husband and I are both dr. Scanlon's patients and we couldn't be happier with him and his staff. He is by far the best and most experienced dentist we have ever had! and trust me we had had a few. His work is always highest quality. Obviously the quality of work is most important but what we also love is how friendly everyone is and that he will not try and get you to do unnecessary work like some dentist and overcharge. This practice is very affordable and reasonable. You will not be sorry to come here and will never trust any other dentist.

This office is amazing!!! The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. The office is so new and clean. Dr. Scanlon is the best!!!!

The dentist and nurses are friendly, but they didn't find cavities or prevented problems. My family members had visited this office twice a year for three years, whenever the nurse and doctor did cleaning and checked our overall oral health, they said "Everything is good, you maintained very well." But we visited another dentist today, and they found serious problems. I was very disappointed with R. Todd office staffs and I would sue them if I could. Please don't trust their words and check your teeth with another dentists. They were not able to find cavities under and side of crown, so my wife's one tooth was broken. That's why I doubted their skills and find another dentist. As result, my wife needs to replace three crowns and the total amount is $6,185 before insurance coverage. They took X-rays every year and cleaning every six months. They always said "Everything is okay". They were not able find the problems. They are responsible for this problem.

I have been coming to Dr. Scanlon's office for 2 years now. Every time my husband and I go we are made to feel like family! We catch up with the receptionist's, dental hygienists and the doc! When my husband & I got married we could not wait to share it with him because he always teased us about getting married! Highly recommended!

The staff is professional and very friendly, I was looking for a good dentist with fair prices for me and my family and I think I finally found the one. My kids love Dr Scanlon and his staff. Today my 8 years old son and I had an appointment at Dr Scanlon's office, we were also with my 11months old. The staff watched the baby while I was getting my teeth clean, if you are looking for a family friendly place, this office is the one you need to go to.

The dentist I was using prior to Dr. Scanlon retired, and I was extremely worried because it is so difficult to find a great dentist. But Dr. Scanlon is as great as everyone claims... 10 minutes into my first visit I felt as if I knew him for years. My first visit he did a root canal on me and explained what he was doing and talked me through it the entire way. Very personable and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

As with everyone else around the globe the covid-19 pandemic has placed a number of restrictions on how we all do 'business as usual'. But that doesn't stop certain things from happening, like a molar splitting which could potentially lead to other, more serious issues. I called Dr. Scanlon's office on a Tuesday and left a message, figuring that it would be a week or so before hearing back from them. Much to my surprise I heard back within the hour and was able to schedule an appointment for the next day in order to address my chipped tooth. In top of getting me in so quickly, Dr. Scanlon also came up with a much less intrusive (and expensive) solution that enabled the matter to be resolved in about an hour (albeit with a face full of numb). Definitely recommend and I will continue to have him, and his staff, take care of my dental matters.

Absolutely without a doubt the best dentist in the St Louis area, Dr. Todd has the greatest bedside manner always telling you what he's doing next and asking you if you're feeling all right. I genuinely get excited to come to Dr. Todd and his extremely kind and understanding staff
