At RS Family Dental, Dr. Shah and Dr. Rauchwerger have a combined experience of over 47 years. They take continuous education courses to keep them on top of cutting edge Dentistry. They are trained in the latest dental procedures and techniques, and are proficient in all phases of dentistry.
Dr. Shah has been practicing since 2001. Dr. Shah graduated from Rutgers University of NJ with a Degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. Afterwards, he attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He did his General Practice Residency at Mt. Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL.
Dr. Shah is a member of the American Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association, The Princeton Group of Dental Excellence a Seattle Study Club, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Stanley Rauchwerger has been practicing family and general dentistry in Hamilton, NJ since 1980. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, completed his residency at Greenpoint Hospital in New York, and was awarded a Fellowship from the American Academy of General Dentistry. This followed his receiving bachelors and masters degrees in chemical engineering, also from NYU, and working as an engineer in the petrochemical industry.
Dr. Rauchwerger is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine as well as a founding member of the Princeton Group for Dental Excellence. He is also a member of the American Dental, NJ Dental, and Mercer County Dental Associations. After having been a clinical instructor at NYU College of Dentistry, he has given numerous presentations at RWJ Health & Wellness Center on the use of oral appliances in treating obstructive sleep apnea and migraine/tension headaches. He also initiated the oral cancer screening program at the RWJ Center.
In his many years practicing all phases of general dentistry, Dr. Rauchwerger has had a special interest and extensive experience in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, migraine and tension headaches, and TMJ pain, as well as caring for those patients who suffer from a fear of going to the dentist. Using oral appliance therapy, he has successfully treated patients who suffer from these conditions and even patients with severe sleep apnea who could not tolerate the CPAP machine.
For Dr. Rauchwerger, one of the most satisfying aspects of treating patients with sleep disorders and snoring is their having more energy and less daytime sleepiness, and the fact that finally, their spouse can sleep in the same room again. Dr. Rauchwerger works with his patients to choose the most effective oral appliance for them, and he works with their sleep physician to confirm the progress and effectiveness of their treatment.

Hi I Am R.H.'s wife and have had dental anxiety for many years. Unfortunately because of my fear I Avoided going. Then due to a dental emergency I needed to find a dentist asap. After doing some research I found Dr Shah at RS Family Dental in Hamilton NJ. The reviews were great and when I meet with Dr Shah not only was he a kind and gentle dentist he made sure I was comfortable and not anxious...and guess what? ..I was not. I could go on and on about Dr Shah..he more than exceeded my expectations. Let me say this...You can feel 100% safe his office is clean and all Covid-19 protocol is adhered too. His staff is an added bonus...everyone is kind and they go above and beyond to make you comfortable ..it's a win win situation.....no more dental anxiety I found the cure! Thank you Dr Shah you changed my life

Dental scam: I saw the good reviews and went to see Dr. Shah. Dr. Shah did a deep cleaning of half of my teeth. I was very cautious about dental overcharge, so I asked before every procedure if it is covered by my insurance, and paid the co-pay when I saw Dr. Shah. However, several days later, I received a bill, I called them, they told me it was some sough of X-ray.

Dr. Shah is beyond amazing. I've been a decades long patient of this practice. Dr. Shah and the entire staff are a dream team - professional, friendly, efficient, and honest. Went to a dental farm mill by Acme on Route 33 who insisted I had 2 cavities. They couldn't even look me in the eyes as they told me. Immediately saw Dr. Shah and he confirmed there were no cavities and there hasn't been in the 8 years since. Won't ever go anywhere else. RS Family Dental has integrity and that's why my entire family has chosen them as their dental provider. Highly recommend.

Best dental experience I've ever had! Every single person at Dr. Shah's office is so kind. Dr. Shah stayed after hours as a courtesy (!!!) to fix my mom's broken crown tonight so she wouldn't have to miss work again. He was kind enough to show me what he was doing and walk me through the procedure every step of the way. He was so thorough and made sure my mom left the office with quality work. Everyone treated my mom and I like family. I'm just sad I hadn't discovered this office sooner. If you're looking for a dentist in the Mercer county area, you won't regret going with Dr. Shah!
