After graduating, Dr.Richerattended the General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center where he met his wife Dr. Nadia Rivera. In 2009, Dr.Richerand Dr. Rivera decided to open their own state-of-the-art cosmetic and family dental practice at R and R Dental, where they provide a modern, friendly and comfortable atmosphere for all patients.
Dr.Richeris a preferred provider of Invisalign and enjoys continuing education in cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign and CEREC Digital Dentistry or CAD/CAM Dentistry which is an integral part of R and R Dental's state-of-the-art treatment. Dr.Richeris also a member of theAcademy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Long Island Dental Study Club. Dr. MichaelRicherenjoys mountain biking, backpacking and of course playing with his daughter Alina.
After 5 years in private practice, Dr. Rivera and Dr.Richerdecided to open their own state of the art, cosmetic and family dental practice where they provide a friendly and comfortable atmosphere for all of their patients.
Dr. Rivera is an Invisalign provider. She continuously attends multiple study clubs and seminars to be able to provide the most updated dentistry techniques to her patients. R and R Dental is equipped with the most current dental equipment and technology including digital x-rays, intraoral camera, Cone Beam CT and CAD/CAM Dentistry known CEREC Digital Dentistry. This cutting edge technology helps R and R Dental provide better service and less invasive treatment to our patients.
On her free time Dr. Rivera likes to travel, bake, do crafts and spend time with her daughter Alina. Dr. Rivera welcomes you to visit the modern and state-of-the-art office at R and R Dental in New York for any of your cosmetic and family dental care needs.
Prava completed her bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University, Virginia in 2011. She then moved to NY because she always loved the food and the diversity here. She can speak 5 different languages including English, Spanish, Nepali, Hindi, and Urdu.
Prava always wanted a career where she can help people. Being a dental hygienist allows her to do that many times over. It gives her an opportunity to change peoples lives for better and treat them with empathy and caring in order to build a foundation of trust. She can help nervous patients become more relaxed in the dental office, and her greatest accomplishment is when she has a patient who cant wait to come back.

They don't tell you on the phone if they fully take your insurance, never did I have to pay over $150 just for regular cleaning, usually my insurance covers everything and I pay nothing for my 2 dental visits a year; if they know my insurance only covers 40% in their office they should have told me that before they touch my teeth and I gave them my information prior to going to in. Everyone is friendly but this bill was unexpected. I paid over $100 after my visit on the day of and now I get another bill of $50 because fluoride was not covered... never had that issue before.

1st time visit, came in as a walk in. One day before the wedding day my crown came off while flossing. R + R dental were able to accommodate me and fix my broken tooth. Front desk ladies are great; nice and efficient. Will definitely come back.

I want to start off by saying i dont fear many things but going to the dentist is one!!! Today i came To R&R and was taken care of by Kelsey and let me tell you SHE WAS AMAZING. Patient, kind, caring!!! She made me feel so comfortable. I was Also seen by dr Rivera and she was AMAZING. The bed side manors were off the charts! The office is absolutely gorgeous, the technology had me in awe! 100% recommend. Looking forward to my next visit :)

R+R Dental is awesome. All of the staff members are kind, and the office is extremely clean and up to date. My annual cleaning was thorough and smooth, and I'm also finishing up Invisalign treatment with them. They'll actually do a free Invisalign consultation at your appointment using their iTero scanner, and you're able to see a digital simulation of what your teeth look like before and after treatment--so cool! Highly, highly recommend this office. My teeth look amazing!

I'm very thankful my friend recommended R and R and that I finally made an appointment. I always joke I want my dental office to feel like a vacation lol, and I finally found a place that comes close. Friendly and helpful staff, great amenities, and I love all the relaxing features like comfort items and the remote to watch whatever you want on the TV while you get work done. This is a really nice office, and I highly recommend it.

The best dental experience I have ever had. I used to go to another dental practice, but it just felt so outdated. So I found R&R Dental, I had no idea it was as luxurious as it is, they really make the whole dental experience as comfortable as possible, and Dr. Richer is awesome. My only (small) complaint is the 3% fee for using any other form of payment except cash/check. The policy just seemed to cheapen the experience and I am very sorry to say that cause I really loved every other aspect of the office. I will 100% recommend anyone I know to come to R&R Dental, I myself will continue to return and pay that stupid fee, because the staff, dentists, and the overall environment and 'vibe' is awesome.

I went to R&R Dental after reading good reviews. Very clean and rhe compassion and care that the staff shows is amazing. From start this practice exceeded my expectations. The reception, xray tech and hygienist were all a pleasure to work with and Dr. Rivera was great. I definitely would recommend this practice.

As new patient I made an appointment for the same day I called! To my delight, the front desk staff were very caring and friendly! Than I was given a tour of the office before being seated for my dental work. The room was amazing, having a TV, and the dental chair with heat and message controls! But the best was Dr Richer explained what needs to be done to fix my dental issue and to my surprise, he resolved the problem with the one visit, AMAZING! Additionally, Dr Richer was very personable along with his assistant!! FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE!! I would recommend R&R Dental to anyone looking for a great dentist!

First let me say this was my first time at this office and it will not be my last. When you first walk in the ambiance was perfect. The staff there made me feel welcome and not nervous. In addition, (they have someone who will be the person to take your X-rays/clean your teeth) walk you around the facility first to get you comfortable with your visit. I almost forgot the dentist area where they will be cleaning your teeth you have your own individual television, chairs give massages and keep you warm while getting what ever procedures you are getting done. Last but not least, the team there is very professional and communicates with you where you can understand what they are doing and what the best/next steps to take. This facility they all work as a team and as the saying goes TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK!

Dr Richer and Dr Rivera have a beautiful office with an incredible staff. Everyone in the office makes you feel comfortable and welcomed. You can truly see that they care by the way they invest in the top technology for their practice. They are a practice that other dentists should strive to have. Loved not having surprises. From day one the treatment was explained to us. They contacted the insurance to ensure what it was cover and work a monthly payment plan for the difference. Everyone cares and treat you with respect. Definitely recommend R&R Dental.
