Dr. Kelly Faulk grew up in Sanford and graduated from Lee County Senior High school in 1983. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1983-1991, and graduated with a B.A. in chemistry and a D.D.S. in dentistry. Dr. Faulk began his dental career in Charlotte, where he practiced in a large group practice from 1991-2001. In 2002, He had the opportunity to 'come home' and practice solo in Sanford.
Dr. Faulk truly loves general dentistry, and especially enjoys the relationships he has formed over the years with his family of patients. He prides himself on providing gentle quality care in a relaxed environment.
Dr. Faulk enjoys giving back to the community through Helping Hands, Give Kids A Smile, and the St. Joseph of the Pines mobile dental clinic. He currently serves on the boards of the Railroad House Historical Association and the CCCC dental advisory committee, and has been a past member of the Lee County Board of Health. Dr. Faulk is also an active member of the ADA, the NC Dental Society, and the Lee County Dental Society. His interests outside of dentistry include his family, pets, running, and history.

These include (but are not limited to) preventative cleanings/sealants/fluoride treatments, white fillings, cosmetic bonding, bleaching/whitening, veneers, crowns, bridges, implants, definitive periodontal treatment/maintenance, partials, dentures, root canals, extractions, and prompt emergency pain relief. Amazing dental team! Dr Faulk and his team had to work me in as my regular dentist had a medical emergency. Dr Faulk is very personable and his entire team made me feel very welcome. Dr Faulk takes time to walk you through the procedure and checks on your comfort level often to make sure you are good. He is very knowledgeable and utilizes the most current dental procedures. Can't say enough about this dental office

My wife, 10 y/o daughter, and I recently went to Dr. Faulk as we were looking a dentist in the area. He, along with his entire staff, are jewels and one of a kind. Even my 10 year old loves him because he is so kind and gentle. I myself have not been a fan of dentists my entire life because of challenges to get numb. After a consultation, he said he would do his best. I had a procedure performed by him today and was in no discomfort whatsoever. That's a first! He even called this afternoon to check on me to see how I was doing. Believe me when I say that his office is amazing!

Toothache and needing a tooth pulled. Didn't have my ins card on me. Brenda at the front absolutely refused any sort of assistance in helping me locate my provider. Seems like she needs to brush up on her professionalism and patient care. Kept telling me what she couldn't do instead of what she could do. Never again.

Well, first I have to tell you that I am Dr. Kelly Faulk's dad. So, yes, I am probably a little prejudiced. LOL His mom and I just moved back to Sanford after being gone for 30 years. Who says you can't go home again? But honestly, you can tell that there is something different as soon as you walk into Kelly's office. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. I have experienced a lot of good dentists in my 77 years here on this earth. In my humble opinion Kelly is the most caring, thorough and gentle and so are his employees. By the way, I like gentle....A LOT. He explains every procedure in a way that even I, a non-medical person, can actually understand what he is talking about. No wonder he has been named "Dentist of the Year" in Sanford for the last 2 years. I never dreamed I would say that a trip to my dentist, even if he IS my son, was a pleasant experience, but today I certainly can.

DR. Faulk and his team are hands down the best dental team around. Upon arrival you are greeted with friendly smiles, and carry on a conversation like your family. When taken to the back, Dr faulk and Mrs. Brenda walk you through step by step of the process and makes sure you are comfortable during the entire process. I was even given options on what I wanted done with what could be done. Thank you for all that yall do!

Last year his dental Hygienist performed x-ray services contrary to how my insurance would pay, even after discussing it several times with her. When I requested them to re-bill it correctly, Brenda laughed in my face. They refused to re-bill the insurance company and instead turned it over to collections. It will be a cold day in hell before I pay this and it's too bad Dr. Faulk can allow his employees to lose his patients.

Probably one of the most thorough Dental visits I have had in my entire life. He took his time he didn't make me feel as if he was rushing through my dental work to get to the next patient. Dr. Faulk was very kind and made sure he thoroughly explained everything to me. I will be recommending him to anyone who ask about a dentist.

I needed to get my daughter and husband in quickly. Dr Faulk got my daughter in literally the next day and my husband the same week. He has an amazing bedside manner. It's a judgement free zone and seems to truly want what's best for his patients. Not only is he wonderful but his entire staff is friendly and approachable from the secretary to the hygienist. If you need a good dentist that will work with you and treat you kindly I highly recommend Dr Faulk
