Dr. Scott grew up in nearby Springfield, Illinois. He attended Millikin University and graduated from the pre-professional program in 1997. In 2003, Dr. Scott completed his dental training from SIU School of Dentistry. Dr. Scott began practicing dentistry in Champaign in July 2003. He averages 60 hours of continuing dental education per year, and is working towards a fellowship with The Academy of General Dentistry and The International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr Scott was the 2008 president of the Illini District Dental Society. He participates annually in the Give Kids a Smile program. In addition, he donates one case per year to Donated Dental Servicesan organization founded to help adults who could not otherwise afford needed dental care.Dr. Scott opened the R.Benjamin Scott Center For Cosmetic Dentistry in 2011. Dr. Schorsch grew up in Rockford, Illinois. He graduated from SIUE in 2008 with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in chemistry. Before attending Dental School he achieved his Masters Degree in Biology. Dr. Schorsch completed his dental training from SIU School of Dental Medicine in 2014, where he received the American Association of Public Health Dentistry award for outstanding interest and achievement in Dental Public Health.Dr. Schorsch has been involved with the Give Kids a Smile program, the Special Olympics, as well as going on a Humanitarian Dental Mission to Jamaica.
In the summer of 2014, Dr. Schorsch joined Dr. Scotts practice to help run the brand new completely renovated Rantoul office.In his spare time, Dr. Schorsch enjoys fishing, golfing, and cycling. He is a die-hard Chicago Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan.Dr. Schorsch is a member of:

I have never had an issue with any work the doctors have done. Today I am getting a crown and it is being made while I am here. No temporary crown. No second appointment. I highly recommend this dental office.

Dr. Benjamin Scott is a wonderful dentist. I have had a lot of difficulty with my teeth due to my birth defect. He has been able to help me through all my issues and given me options. My family all go to him and I would recommend him to everyone. His staff are amazing also!!

My dad has been here a few times for cleaning and root canal. They messed up his root canal and told him he needed to extract the tooth. The other dentist who he sees emailed and contacted this office to redo the root canal. He requested to speak to dr. Robert but the receptionists would not allow him To. They are rude, unprofessional, and racists.They told him he needs 4 cleanings a year so they can pocket more money from him. He doesnt speak English very well so they try to take advantage of him. They didnt make any attempt to communicate when my dad tried to discuss his issues with them. They just pushed him aside and hope he doesnt come back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Dr Scott and Dr Schorsch have such an amazing staff, and truly are outstanding dentists in the area. They care 1000% about their patients care, and giving each person an amazing dental experience. The staff is wonderful and friendly, they help with any insurance questions you have, and make you feel very welcome! I've had crowns, fillings, cleanings & more done at this office and have loved my time there!

We are thankful to have Dr Scott as our dentist. It's an office our entire family can go to. They did a great job with our kids especially when they needed some baby teeth extracted for braces. The hygenists are knowledgeable. We appreciate Dr. Scott and Dr. Schorschs' chairside manner.

Very friendly staff. I was in and out with no waiting. My hygienist was very professional and caring. Made my whole experience easy. Doctor Scott is very caring and takes the time and care with each patient. This is a great place to go if you are nervous about going to tha dentist. Very happy!

Was good at first consultation for my small child who needed a few cavities filled. The first filling was a disaster however. My child screamed the whole time because the numbing gel nor the Novocaine were given any time to work before the procedure started. Nothing was halted or stopped. The only encouraging words were the tech telling my son to be quiet because hes going to scare the other children in the waiting area. (which there were none). His tounge was clipped with the drill and now today he has a giant blister on the inside of his mouth. (not from chewing on it, it's where his lip was being manipulated). Will not return!

After having issues with 3 dentist, I almost had given up hope. I finally talked to Dr. Scott & found my saving grace. The office is very clean and modern. His staff didn't rush me off of the phone and really talked to me about what was to be expected from my consult. I was impressed by how knowledgeable the team was. After meeting Dr. Scott I was blown away. Unlike most in the medial/dental field, he spoke to me not at me. He explained my issue, our short/long term ways of correcting it, and I left feeling confident knowing I am headed towards my overall goal. I would never go to another dentist.

I was recently referred here by a colleague from Wolfram. Went in to get a cleaning for the first time. One of the dental hygienists, Rita, took great care of me. I had alot of tartar build up from not rly flossing ever and she got it removed all the while making jokes and keeping things cheery. Then Dr. Schorsh came in and looked at my X-rays. I told him about some sensitive areas in my mouth and he found the two cavities and wisdom tooth abnormalities. Showed me the X-rays and explained everything in full detail. Today I went in at 11am to get the cavities filled. Was an absolute breeze. He told me about some of the tools they were using, and one called a "clicker" which was kinda scary. I asked him if he played the video game "The Last of Us" bc the scariest things in the game are also called clickers and he knew about it! Lol I highly recommend this dentist's office. I've been to 3 other offices in the past and this by far utilizes the newest technologies alongside the friendliest staff.
