Dr. R. Ben Alexander, DDS was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Texas Tech University. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Dr. Alexanders treatment philosophy is centered around the golden rule, in treating all of his patients the way he would expect to be treated. He values the relationships and trust he is able to build with his patients. Dr. Alexander understands that each individual patient has specific and unique dental needs and is committed to providing the best dental care to each and every person.
Dr. Alexander is a member of the North Texas Dental Society, Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. He holds certifications in nitrous oxide sedation, oral conscious sedation and Invisalign Orthodontics. Dr. Alexander is currently training at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington. The Kois Center is the premier dental educational facility in the world providing advanced training in comprehensive dental care and aesthetic dentistry. The Kois Center focuses on advancing dentistry through science. With this unique training, Dr. Alexander is able to provide full mouth rehabilitation, treat occlusal disorders (bite problems) and achieve optimal aesthetic results for each patient.
HOMETOWN: Amarillo, TXFAMILY: Dr. Alexander is married to Jamie, who is also a dentist in the Dallas area. They met in dental school and have been in love and fixing teeth ever since.HOBBIES: Dr. Alexander enjoys exercise, golfing, skiing, biking, cheering on his local sports teams and spending time with family.
Pauline was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She graduated cum laude from Northeast Louisiana University with a Bachelors Degree of Science in Dental Hygiene. After practicing in Louisiana, Pauline and her husband Kelly took a leap of faith and moved to McKinney in 2005 for a better education for their son Connor.
Pauline joined the dental practice in January 2006. What she enjoys about being a dental hygienist is developing relationships with her patients and assisting with their dental health. She also enjoys furthering her dental knowledge by participating in continuing education courses. She has taken advanced dental courses in periodontal disease, oral cancer, implant care, geriatrics, nutrition, dental imaging, and instrumentation techniques.With Paulines gentle touch and friendly personality, she gets to know her patients and their individual needs.

Ashlee was born and raised near Paris, Texas, where she graduated high school in 2009 and went on to study Dental Assisting at PJC in Paris. Ashlee has worked in dentistry for 5 years with both front office and clinical experience. She has worked with Dr. Alexander since July of 2016 and loves her patients.
HOMETOWN: Paris, TXFAMILY: Husband Wesley and two amazing children, Presley & Scarlett.HOBBIES: In her off time, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her husband Wesley and children, Presley and Scarlett. She is very involved in their sports, including baseball and softball, along with spontaneous adventures she and Wesley embark upon.

I was a patient of Dr. McCarley and loved everyone at the clinic. We were anxiously awaiting his replacement, but our concerns were unnecessary because Dr. Alexander has an extremely similar approach to customer care, dental care, and how it impacts overall health, etc. In short, the "new" staff are perfect! That said, we are so thankful to have at least one hold-over ... the dental hygienist that handles cleanings is the best we have encountered. Five stars are for real! UPDATE: 2 years after moving away, I am considering returning to their wonderful clinic even with the 1+ hour drive.

I was recommended to Dr. Ben's office by a dear friend of mine, and I was not disappointed! They take their time and do thorough careful work. Plus, they're all so incredibly kind. I'm so excited to finally have a home base for my dental health needs that I feel super confident in! Also, I am not a super anxious dentist-goer, but I could tell by the way they spoke to me that they would be an incredible fit for someone who is.

WOW, as a person who has high anxiety with dentist I can say that I have found my dental home! Bonnie, Leslie, and Dr. Alexander were amazingly awesome as I had a chipped tooth fully repaired and looking 100% brilliant. Please, do yourself a favor and go visit them. You can thank me later:). Dr Alexander is so gentle . I usually hate going to the Denist. Dr Alexander is so knowledgeable and totally makes his patients feel at ease. I trust him. He is great at explaining the procedure. His staff is very friendly and they all seem to get along great. I would strongly recommend Dr Alexander!

I had the best experience here. The entire staff was incredible and so friendly. They explained everything they would be doing during my visit. Mr. Alexander treated me so great and went above and beyond to check my jaw, my mouth for oral cancer and he explain exactly what my next step was for taking care of my teeth. I'd never had any dentist take the time out to check my jaw or to look for oral cancer. It left me feeling so very taken care of and happy. Will definitely be coming back here from now on!

We (my spouse and our two boys and I) love Dr. Alexander and his entire team. They are the most thorough, professional and friendly dentist office we have ever had. Dr. Alexander explains everything in a way that makes sense. And you never feel that he's trying to over-diagnose, but he keeps close tabs on your overall oral health. Highly recommend!!

If you ask anyone that knows me including the family at Dr. Ben's practice they'll agree I'm a big baby when it comes going to the dentist. I had a few bad experiences when I was a child left me with a deep rooted fear of dentistry. 30 years later I found this office. I have been going to Dr. Ben since he took over the practice for Dr McCarley. Pauline has been my Dental Hygienist for the last ~10 years. and she detailed, warm, kind and funny. I always feel comfortable in her chair. She acknowledges my fears and work around them. She has a gentle touch and is incredibly good at her job. For that alone I cannot sing higher praise. Dr Ben took over the practice some years ago, and initially I was concerned about the change. Immediately, I found him to be a wonderful Doctor. Again he never makes me feel uncomfortable, has a gentle touch and is quite possibly the most kind Doctor I've ever met. We've gone down the long road of recovering dental health together and he has been incredible. His work is top notch and he is a wonderful communicator. Both my wife and I agree the team at RBA Family Dentistry is the best dental practice either of us have ever experienced. Honestly if we ever happen upon an occasion to move away, the notion of losing Dr. Ben Alexander and his staff is a consideration I would weigh very carefully.

Dr. Alexander is not only talented, caring and extremely conscientious, but he is genuinely interested in the well being of his patient and strives to provide excellent service every time. This is an unbeatable combination and I appreciate him very much as my dentist. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for this level of care from a dental professional.

Dr. Alexander, his staff, the experience and customer service were Impeccable. I was referred to him by another doctor who is a friend is mine and could not be happier. My daughter has cochlear implants making the "dentist experience" especially challenging. They made sure to take every measure to not only, to make her visit comfortable but pleasurable and very engaging for her. She actually cannot wait to go back! I would highly recommend this practice to anyone I know. From the initial first phone call to the check out, I give it an A+. We will surely be patients for life. Great job everyone.
