Dr. Flavin is an active member of the California Dental Association. He enjoys taking continuing education classes and is always looking for opportunities to advance his clinical skills in order to better serve his patients.
Dr. Sykes was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. He is the second oldest of nine children and he's the first dentist in the family! Dr. Sykes is an avid Seattle sports fan and movie buff. He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, camping, fishing, mountain biking, and skiing. Dr. Sykes also loves spending quality time with his wife and four young children.
My mission is to deliver high-quality dental care that is tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Every day, I strive to build relationships based on trust and collaboration while providing a welcoming and supportive environment.
Dentistry is a constantly changing field that incorporates artistic finesse, clinical expertise, and the genuine desire to help others. This profession allows me to be an educator and leader by improving patient health, providing quality service, and advancing with new technologies.

Having not been to the dentist in over 10 years, and obviously needing alot of work. The dentists at quirt made my experiences as quick and easy as possible. I won't be waiting another 10 years to return.

My apologies to the dentist who assessed my wisdom teeth, I don't remember his name but he was very kind, and did not waste any time. Main highlight of this first appointment would have to be Victor, no questions. Very kind, very helpful and informative. He was assisting the dentist but he was essentially the star of the show, going above and beyond to ensure the visit went smoothly. I have to return for for a general checkup, but right off the bat this place deserves 4 stars due to prompt and friendly customer service. Thank you Victor and everyone else for a swift and great first visit!

After going to another dentistry for many years scheduling an appointment became very difficult and I decided a change was needed. Quiet Family Dentistry on E Bridge St in Wausau was the choice I was able to make. In one word "FABULOUS". They were able to get me in quickly, EVERYONE was so pleasant and accommodating and could not be any more happy about my choice. Highly recommend

January 2022. Hillary was fantastic. She communicated very clearly. Made recommendations without being pushy. Clearly communicated what she was seeing in the X-rays while comparing new vs old. Hillary does a thorough job of cleaning my teeth with an awareness of how much pain she is causing. Hillary Was helpful in discussing possible solutions and expedited estimates. The ladies at the front desk did a great job in getting the estimates completed by the time I was ready to leave. Hillary cleaned my teeth today. Everything I stated above is still spot on. I have been going to Quirt Dentistry of Wausau for over 6 years and they've always taken good care of me. Everyone is kind and my appointments are always on time, approximately a 10-minute wait from the moment I walk in the door. I have jumped around with several Hygienists within the clinic and I just have to give a shout-out to Leah!!! She is superb - great customer service and makes sure you are comfortable from the time you sit down to the time you take off your eyewear. Dr. Josh Flavin is also great - positive energy and always gentle. I highly recommend Quirt Dentistry of Wausau for your dental care.
