My wife was referred to this practice for a tooth extraction. When she arrived they looked at her tooth and said they could not perform the procedure and proceeded to bill us $138.00 for nothing.

Today I saw Dr. Rekha Pawar and her assistant Carissa at the New Britain office. The office building was close to my home, had plenty of handicapped and regular off street parking with easy access to the elevator. The office itself was comfortable, attractive and immaculate. They are following all Covid guidelines. I needed to see an Ondontist to rule out a possible infection/ root canal issue for an upcoming hip replacement surgery and had to be absolutely sure I was good to go! She got me in immediately, no wait once there, and did all the tests that needed to be done. She showed me the results and explained in detail exactly what I needed to know, answered all my questions and eased my mind...so I'm go to go. She is forwarding all my info to my regular dentist and sent me home with a Disc with all pictures and info. I'll be back for sure to keep an eye on this tooth issue and if I need to, will be back to her in a flash! Best Ondontic experience I've ever had...and I've had more than my share! Thank you Dr. Pawar and Carissa!

Ive heard horrid stories about Root Canals , pain and complications. Dr Hohmann was superb, as was his staff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this very special Endodontist !

Doctor told me getting a retreatment would have been cheaper than an implant, insurance ended up refusing to cover the crown cost because the tooth apparently shouldn't have been retreated in the first place. Implant would have saved me almost 1000 dollars. Front end also charged me twice for the $138 consultation fee, then never sent a check out for the refund. Told me to wait another month to actually see what was up. BEWARE.

Please do not fear getting a root canal. Dr. Pawar is so talented, personable and careful. The people who work in her office are wonderful, too. You will be impressed by how dedicated she is. Maureen

Highly recommend this place if you need great specialists. They will explain everything step by step what they will do and they will answer any of your question. Unfortunately the 2 stars are not for the service I received but for person who called my insurance. They told me that everything is covered by my insurance and I ended up with over a $1200 bill. Yes I know I should call my insurance as well but I though they know better what procedures will be done to my tooth. My doctor gave my huge discount so I ended paying about $700 but still this is a lot of money when you are expecting $250 bill from your insurance.

Dr. Rekha Pawar and her team are excellent. I went to Dr. Pawar for a root canal, where my roots were curved and extremely small. Needless to say, it was not the typical root you would expect to see. Dr. Pawar worked tirelessly to ensure she could get to the root and fix my problem. Dr. Pawar explained each step and made sure I knew what was happening during the procedure. The best part was I did not feel any pain during the procedure. I almost fell asleep I was so at ease. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking fast, communicative, pain-free treatment. Thank you, Dr. Pawar!

I went there terrified, root canal? Can you say Marathon Man ? I barely felt the novacaine. Dr. Kowalski is great. A class act in every way. I would recommend him to anyone who asks.
