Dr. Shaban BDS, MS, PHD, DMD is a general dentist with more than 20 years of practice experience since his graduation in 1991. He is a 2008 Tufts DMD graduate who provided services in many dental offices around Massachusetts including his own office. Dr. Shaban is experienced in procedures such as restorative, endodontic, oral surgery as well as implant dentistry.
Dr. Shaban graduated with honors degree in 1991 from Alexandria University Dental School in Egypt where he immediately attended a one year general practice residency and then an oral surgery residency program simultaneously obtaining his Master Degree and appointed a position as an instructor of oral surgery at the University where his skills exceeded the standards and he gained additional post-graduate experience.
Dr. Shabans career in the United States started in the Medical College of Georgia where he was appointed as a Research Fellow ofthe dental school in 2000. It was there that he conducted extensive research in the field of implant dentistry in collaboration with various implant companies and educational institutes. Dr. Shaban returned to Alexandria in 2004 where he received his PHD degree and was appointed lecturer of Oral Surgery.

After having some not-so-great experiences at the dentist, I was happily surprised by my experience at QHCD. They are kind, efficient, and communicative. The dentist is considerate and appointments go by quickly, without issue. It's easy to set up appointments, cancel, or reschedule via text or call. Highly recommend this dentist to anyone in the Quincy area!

I went for regular evaluation and cleaning. Dr. Shaban is knowledgeable and explains things well. Support staff is also great. I love my experience here. Excited for the follow-up visit.

Excellent team here, they were accommodating for me and worked with some scheduling issues I had, being communicative throughout. They were honest and upfront about costs, time frames and dental plan. They went above and beyond to try and schedule my dental work so I could maximize my insurance benefits. Thank you!

I've been going to Dr. Shaban for about 2 years now. He and all the staff has been very professional. During covid, they have been 100% on top of PPE and safety measures/screening to ensure that you are safe.

I really despise going to the dentist, but after years of procrastinating to fix some persistently worsening problems, I started looking for a dentist who made me feel safe, cared-for, important, and respected. I felt like maybe that was too much to ask until I found Quincy High Care Dentistry. The administrative staff was so sweet and wonderful, making it a priority to fit appointments in for me when others cancelled. The doctor was genuinely kind and had such a calming presence that I decided maybe I don't despise all dentists. I am thoroughly satisfied with the work I had done and highly recommend Quincy High Care Dentistry.

Beware this man! I vomited and was told I was being difficult. Then I was told find a dentist who works with disabled people for free or pull my teeth with no guarantee of a partial. Recently I had my teeth re examined and the correct paper work was submitted and all the procedures ARE COVERED! This man is beyond wrong! How dare you! Glad I didn't listen to you! You just didn't want to do any work for the insurance. Beware all he cares about is dollar sign Also it is said in response I was referred someplace. Not true. My opinion is only here cause I feel so strongly about it!
