Dr. M. Mehran Rouhanian received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 2007 from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, University of Maryland. He completed a one-year fellowship in geriatric dentistry at the University of Maryland in 2008. Upon graduating, Dr. Rouhanian was fortunate enough to work with some great people who cared for each patients health and well being and not the bottom line for the practice .He is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and participates in continuing education courses to stay up to speed with advancements in the dental field. Dr. Rouhanian is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). In 2011 he opened his own practice, Quince Orchard Dental Care, with a mission to make a difference.
Dr. Rouhanian runs his practice on the principle that treating patients the right way is just as important as the dental care he provides. He developed this belief, and way of running his practice, from being fortunate enough to work with other great and respected dentists in the community like Dr. Morganstein and Dr. Plesset to name a few. People often remember the quality of the experience with their dentist. As such, Dr. Rouhanian places emphasis on how his patients are treated from the waiting room, through the entire visit.
Since then, Quince Orchard Dental Team has grown into an expert and caring group of dentists and team members. They are a family on a mission of change. Dr. Rouhanian has worked hard over the years to put together professionals who are genuinely good people, professionals who focus on precedence over people, professionals who will treat patients well no matter their income level or type of insurance.
Quince Orchard Dental Care is a full service dental practice, combining general dentistry, dental implantology, pediatric, cosmetic, orthodontic and periodontic dentistry under one roof. Their practice is a complete health practice, which means that their focus extends beyond simply providing a dental service. They are interested in the overall health of patients, and believe that certain oral indicators can predict certain systemic diseases. They take the time to educate patients about how and why they should do certain things in a simple and friendly manner.
Dr. Rouhanians hope is to be able to create such strong relationships with his patients that they will bring their children and grandchildren in to be cared for by their great group of doctors. His dream is that in 30 years when someone mentions Quince Orchard Dental Care, people will automatically think about a high level of quality and consistently thoughtful care. Dr. Rouhanian also believes a big part of his purpose is to improve the overall well-being of his community. He is involved in a number of charitable projects and plans to extend his reach in the coming months. Dr. Rouhanian is a member of the American Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry and participates in continuing education courses. He is also a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). When not working, Dr. Rouhanian enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife, Dr. Lewis, have two vivacious little girls, Ava and Ariana.
The easy-going, curious and positive Dr. Brandon Lee was born and raised in California. For his undergraduate degree, he attended Dickinson College where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He attended the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where he qualified for the Oral Surgery Clerkship. He then completed his one year residency at NYU Lutheran AEGD Residency - Chase Brexton Health Services. Dr. Lee is an active member of many professional associations, including American Dental Association, American Dental Education Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Lee joined our practice as a general dentist and was warmly welcomed as part of our family. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere was one of the main factors in his decision to join Quince Orchard Dental Care. He observed how friendly the employees were and how much they seemed to really enjoy working here as well as care for our patients. The values upheld by our practice were also shared by Dr. Lee. We are very open to listening to our patients and their concerns. We are always willing to take the time and get into detail when educating our patients, and we never try to push services on them. We want them to be educated enough to make a decision themselves with our professional guidance. We always consider and adjust to our patients needs and timelines when planning their care. All of these values resonated with and are shared by Dr. Lee. The rapport between Dr. Lee and Dr. Rouhanian is incredible! Always eager to expand his clinical skills, Dr. Lee is happy to work with Dr. Rouhanian and Dr. Plesset, who are very experienced, and excellent educators and mentors.
Why did Dr. Lee choose dentistry, you may ask? Well, Dr. Lee loves the fact that dentistry encompasses not only beautiful smiles, but also functional aspects of good health, such as improving speech, bite and jaw alignment. He gets great satisfaction from helping patients regain function, improve their dental health and quality of life. The nature of dentistry itself is something he finds intriguing. There is a lot of creativity and artistry involved; especially when it comes to reconstructing smiles. Dr. Lee considers himself a hard worker, so leisure time is equally important to him. He loves spending quality time with his wife Jie. They are both major foodies and love trying new foods. He has always been really into music; he has been playing jazz saxophone, the piano and the guitar for a number of years. You may not guess it by looking at him in his dental scrubs, but he is a very skilled fisherman. HHe and his younger brother Daniel have been fishing since 2008 and their last catch was a catfish weighed a whopping 67 pounds! Dr. Lee is a strong Christian and God has played an integral role in his life. Family is also central to his life. His mother Jill taught him to be compassionate and to be assertive. His dad Ken taught him to keep a level head. His brother Daniel and wife Jie have always supported and believed in him, which has helped him to become the person he is today. Dr. Lee also believes in the power of compassion. It allows you to understand other people, to see where they are coming from, helps you to grow and serves as the foundation for other values, such as honesty and love.

Quince Orchard Dental Care I had been going to Dr. Jay Plesset for almost 28 years. I was seeing Dr. Plesset every 4 months. I followed Dr. Plesset to Quince Orchard Dental Care (QO) when he joined their practice. I continued to use Dr. Plesset until he chose to retire when the Covid virus hit the area. I continued to go to QO every 4 months. I didn't pick a specific dentist but the dentist that was inspecting my mouth was Dr. Rouhanian. Every time Dr. Rouhanian saw me he said my mouth was doing just fine. Then the last time I went for my visit Dr. Rouhanian wasn't available so Dr. Lee inspected my mouth. After the usual X-rays were taken Dr. Lee then informed me I have a lot of problems. I had a wisdom tooth with a major cavity that needed to be removed. Another wisdom tooth had to come out to be able to get to a cavity in the adjacent tooth. I also had dental decay under 4 crowns that were failing and needed another root canal ASAP due to the cavity that went down extremely deep in one of the crowns. What?? How can I have all these problems at the same time since I go every 4 months? Every time Dr. Rouhanian inspected my mouth I always came away with the impression that he didn't spend enough time looking at my mouth. But, I'm not a dentist. I assumed Dr. Rouhanian spent the appropriate amount of time for a proper evaluation. I used their endodontist, Dr. Mangin. The day of the appointment with Dr. Mangin, sitting in the dental chair, I'm then told Dr. Mangin needed a 3-D scan of my entire mouth before he could proceed and the scan was not covered by insurance. That scan was $300. I've had previous root canals that didn't require a 3-D scan of my entire mouth. But again, I'm not a dentist I don't know. I do know that all of the dental issues I had took a long time to develop. It just didn't happen in the time span of 4 months since my last dental checkup. My trust in QO was no longer there so I left the practice. I met with my new endodontist and he showed me on the X-rays just how deep the infections were on 3 teeth. I needed 3 additional root canals. He then wanted to know why I waited so long to take care of these teeth. I could easily understand having all of my issues if I only went to the dentist once a year but not if I'm going every 4 months. Even though I have dental insurance I quickly reached my maximum payout for this year. My new dental professionals thought it wouldn't be wise for me to postpone correcting my dental issues until next year just to be able to use my dental insurance. So now I'm at least $6,000+ of out of pocket expenses. I definitely do not recommend Quince Orchard Dental Care.

Danielle and Dr. Lee made my experience of my first visit in a long time a truly special one. I will literally never go to a different dentist's office ever again. I needed an emergency visit as my crown fell off. Dr. Lee was able to see me at 9:30 and I only called at 7. After he re cemented my crown, he personally scheduled me for follow up work and then escorted me personally to check out and assist staff with moving things in his schedule to make an appointment for me on Monday. The staff here truly go above and beyond. The best!!

I am always happy with the care I receive here. I have horrible teeth and have had a bunch of work done at a bunch of dentist over the years. The Staff at QODC always makes me feel welcome and at ease. They always help to explain my treatment plans in terms I can understand and coordinate with my insurance (I have had a few). I have had countless procedures done here, root canals, cavities filled, teeth cleaned and whitened. They offer a bunch of services and Doctors since there expansion last year. I recommend Claudia for cleanings she is always very gentle. Esp. when taking x rays. All around a good company and I would recommended to friends.

Love, love, love this practice. I'm someone who dreaded going to the dentist for almost a decade due to some bad experiences with an old dentist, and the dental hygienist Nasim and Dr. Rouhanian have really gone out of their way to make sure that I'm comfortable. They talk me through the process, they offer wonderful suggestions and there is no shaming. Nasim is so wonderful, she remembers all the little details about my family and always asking about the children, she is a big reason why I feel so calm there. Beautiful newly renovated office, very clean and bright. It's very easy to schedule appointments and they have an incredibly easy system to use. I feel very safe when I'm there from a health-safety standpoint. My husband and my kids also go here as well. My son is two and my daughter is 10 months. The kindest people work here, absolutely recommend to anyone, especially those wary of dentists!!

Easily one of the best experiences that we have had with a dentist EVER. Our experience started with front desk staff who went above and beyond to help us with our insurance, scheduling, and even additional referrals (in the event that they couldn't help us) When we arrived today (in the wrong office) the front desk staff from Orthodontics was gracious enough to personally walk us through the plaza until we found the correct office. The pediatric group was nothing short of amazing. Again, the customer service provided from the front desk staff was warm, kind, helpful, and informed. Once in the examination room...the standard was continued. The dental tech and dentist provided every comfort that a parent/caregiver could want for there child and/or adult with special needs. My adult daughter was soothed and given an opportunity to advocate for her services to be tailored to her needs and anxieties. We had a great experience and can't wait to return. That speaks wonders when you can't wait to return to the dentist. :-)
