Dr. Quillen completed his pre dentistry requirements at Morris Harvey College and graduated from West Virginia University School of Dentistry six months early. He practiced general dentistry prior to his completion of the postdoctoral Orthodontic residency program at Washington University School of Dental Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He moved to Kentucky in 1999 and has practiced as a solo practitioner since. He and his wife, Paige, have a son, several horses, sheep, cats, dog, and ducks. He loves riding horses, beekeeping, building things and doing farm work.

Dr. Quillen never disappoints. He's honest and professional. If you think he's being 'too blunt' it's because he actually cares about your child's dental health. Let's not forget Mrs. Paige (as I like to call her). Always sweet and courteous! And you can't beat his price!

2 of my kids go to him for their braces. 1 child is paid for through insurance and the other I pay out of pocket. They gave me an amazing deal! Dr.Quillen and his wife are great and friendly people. I am so glad our dentist referred him. We drive and hour and 20 mins to see them and I dont mind at all. My daughter always says she learns more from him then her teachers. Lol.. My 3rd child is looking to be getting braces and he will be going to them as well. Also Orthodontist and other drs are suppose to tell their patients what they are doing wrong.

Dr Quillen has been an absolute joy to work with. Our 11 year old daughter had some fairly difficult issues, and Dr Quillen talked us through the best option for treatment and we started treatment very quickly. She required a rapid palate expander, and Dr Quillen explained thoroughly why this was necessary and what type of changes would take place. He is very kind and has always been nothing but professional. He has explained the importance of dental hygiene and tooth decay in a way that has made a positive impact on our daughter. He is encouraging and welcoming, and we never have to wait. He does not make you feel rushed, or like he is hurrying through your appointment so he can get to the next patient. He takes pride in his work, and you can absolutely see that through the results. Him and his wife are absolutely wonderful, and we highly recommend this practice.

I am also grateful for you seeing me spare of the moment and offering retainer service for a reasonable price. Reading some of these reviews, I cant believe parents would be upset for stating the obvious. I absolutely want a doctor who will tell me when I'm doing something wrong, or tell my child to do something better. Especially if I am paying out of pocket for orthodontic treatment. Thank you for the wonderful service you provided us today. Your wife is also great. She is so sweet and caring towards patients, thank you both.

My granddauhters love him. Aubry and kinley are typically terrified of a dentist but love going to Dr Quillen. He's very good with them and makes them feel at ease. Just put braces on aubry and then kinley is next. Would recommend to anyone. Even did a root canal on kinley and she was fine

Dude is totally unprofessional. Accused me of neglecting my child because she did not wear her elastics while she ate. Sorry but a 15 minute lunch isn't going to hurt without her elastics. He blamed her for her teeth not shifting although he would not change anything when we'd come here for her visit. He would sit and complain that we weren't doing what we were supposed to, then tell us to leave. I honestly believe he was the one who didn't know what to do. As you can see, he's offended other patients and their parents with lecturing on how to parent. Last visit which was last month, he very roughly ripped my daughters braces off early and told us to get out, then had the nerve to bill our insurance for the full amount- lol has to be a joke dude!!! You did nothing for us and we will be taking our money elsewhere for her teeth to be properly fixed. Not to mention, he tries parts on your teeth when puts them back in the tray and doesn't wash them. Gross!

Very professional, I like the fact he is blunt and straight forward expresses to the kids the importance of keeping up with brushing, he has done braces on my oldest son and niece and taking my younger son back to him. Had a great experience will refer him to others

He got after my son when he was not brushing his teeth good enough, and showed him pictures of tooth decay. He cares about the health of his patients. He also got after him for breaking his brackets. Some parents get mad when their kids dont act right but dont take it out on the doc. He cares about the kids and talks to them as people. He might even ask them a history or geography question and asks them about what books they are reading. Bring your kids here.

Straight smile for a small price! He likes to talk about educational things while he works, it's like listening to a documentary while you get your teeth done. All the low ratings are just the parents who don't tell you the full story... I know because I asked about the reviews while I was there.

He seemed to think it was more important to talk about my daughter's weight than her teeth. Lectured me about how its my job. Maybe he should have read her health and organ problems before making a conclusuon he knows nothing about especially in front of a littke girl who already struggles w self esteem issues!!! Rude and unprofessional i will never be back!!!!!
