The long road to becoming an orthodontist started with Arjun Patel accepting a full scholarship to the University of Georgia where he became a die-hard Bulldog fan. After receiving a bachelors degree in microbiology with highest honors, he attended the Medical College of Georgia College of Dental Medicine to start his path to becoming an orthodontist. He achieved his Doctorate in Dental Medicine with highest honors and received multiple recognitions for his academic excellence and dental skills. Dr. Patel then continued his education at the College of Dental Medicine to receive his certificate in orthodontics to become a specialist. While most orthodontists finish there, Dr. Patel wanted to build his skills as a Board Certified orthodontist. It required extensive testing along with presentation of high quality finished cases. Only 33% of orthodontists are board certified, and Dr. Patel is proud to be one of them.
Compassion, integrity and a high degree of quality are hallmarks of Dr. Patels patient care philosophy. So it was his dream to open his own private practice where he could treat patients how they deserve to be treated like people. Soon after graduating, he achieved that dream by building his practice in Sandy Springs, Georgia. He intends to continue practicing as he always has, in a caring, state-of-the-art office where patients are treated like people and always walk out with a smile on their face.
Dr. Patel is married to Anushka Amin, his sweetheart from UGA. They have two lovely kids, Kayen and Eyla. They enjoy traveling, and Dr. Patel is especially adventurous when it comes to the local food. In his spare time, he can be found working out, playing basketball, spikeball, or any number of other sports, and grilling on the Green Egg. He loves watching movies, but some of his favorite ones come from the Marvel Universe.

I received my bachelors in psychology and public health from Emory University, and then went on to pursue my certificate in healthcare management at Georgia Southern University. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time withmy husband and friends!
