As a graduate of Queens College in Biology, Dr. Snitofsky went on to extend his education, receiving his doctorate from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Snitofsky continued his education after receiving his doctorate by entering into Long Island Jewishs post-doctoral residency program. Dr. Snitofsky is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Suellan Yao is originally from New York. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Boston University and then her Certificate in Periodontics from Columbia University. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Yao maintains an active membership in the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association, New York County Dental Association and Northeastern Society of Periodontists. She is now a periodontist committed to treating the patients' gums and supporting tissues of the teeth. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys travel, swimming and reading a good book.

Queens Village Dental Associates is wonderful. My sister referred me to Dr. Flax after going to him while pregnant needing a root canal. He was her dentist ever since. I have been going for about 5 years. Even during the pandemic, they called to let me know that they were taking patients when they were allowed to open. Today I had my first appointment since 2019. Everyone welcomed me back and my visit was a breeze. I also brought my 11 year old daughter for her check up as well. Dr. Flax and the staff were very kind and gentle. Dr. Flax explained to my daughter the importance of brushing your teeth at night as well as the mornings and congratulated her on keeping good care of her teeth. Whether you need a cleaning or other dental care, they will do it in a gentle way. If you have a fear of dentist, you won't after visiting. This is an excellent dental practice. I recommend it 1000%.

Queens Village Dental Associates Dr.Flax an his team are amazing. He has been my Family's Dentist as we grew from when I first got married and as we expanded our family over 25 years. We have gone through wisdom tooth extractions, Children's cavities, ,braces, to now everyone of us having healthy & Brite smiles. I tried another dentist once b.c my insurance had changed and didn't cover my visits to him.That was a nightmare, I had 4 young sons at that time and we came in for teeth cleaning and checkup for our 1st visit. The two older were ok but said their gums were really sore, the younger two they were rough with & made the youngest throw up, needless to say, they didn't know how to take care of pediatric patients. I was sooo horrified I called Dr.Flax to see what we could work out & we did till I could opt for a different plan. I didn't want my sons to be afraid of going to the dentist. Dr.Flax is a perfectionist and takes great pride in the work he does. He wants you to be proud of his amazing work and any one else who looks in your mouth. His integrity of work , with team he leads will have you coming back happily and recommending him to others as I do. His equipment is always state-of-the-art new equipment for what needs to be done. You want the best for your pearly whites Dr.Flax and his Team are the ones for you. I just pray he will be around forever . He & his staff care & that's what you want in you Dental Team

True story Back in 2003 Dr E (Yes that's what I call him lol) did me a huge favor and allowed me to pay over time an expensive cosmetic job that the insurance wouldnt cover which is unheard of because some people just skip out on the bill after the work is done. Dr E placed trusted in me to hold up my end of the deal and 19 years later I still come to him and now my son that's now 8 is following in the same foot steps. In the end this dental practice wait I mean this family (because it's more of a family environment more than anything) dental office is the best at making you feel like it's family working on your teeth. FYI I had all 9 teeth done on the top of my mouth and the detail in which each individual tooth came out to look is outstanding and keep in mind I still have the same teeth he worked on almost 20 years ago Which all of this said ...please trust in this review because both Eric and John are the best at what they do

Dr Flax literally is the the best dentist everrrr!!! He is a very personable, caring and kind. He listens to all your needs and explains the procedures that needs to be done. He is the only dentist I fully trust with my teeth. His staff in the front are just as helpful Shaq and Berta thank you!!!
