Through her gift of communication and listening, Dr. Stenvall helps put patients at ease. She loves seeing the look in a patients eye when they realize something isnt as difficult as they thought it was going to be.
Although she is a New Jersey native, Dr. Stenvall grew to love North Carolina during her undergraduate years at Wake Forest University. She then received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine before completing a one year general practice residency at a busy hospital in Brooklyn, NY. She practiced dentistry with her father in New Jersey before his retirement and also practiced in Williamsburg, Virginia, for four years. Dr. Stenvall was lured to North Carolina by the opportunity to surround herself with family and friends who have moved to the Charlotte area over the years. She is excited to call North Carolina her new home.
In her free time, Dr. Stenvall loves spending time with friends and family, including her niece and nephews, who live in Matthews. She is an officer in the United States Army Reserves and is proud to serve our country alongside many other brave veterans. She can often be found on the tennis court, playing the piano or curling up with a good book and her two cats.
A Charlotte native, Kristin has spent her entire dental career working with Dr. Pourlos before his retirement in 2018. She has worked as a dental hygienist for 23 years and now has stepped into the role of office manager. Kristin and her husband, Randy, have two daughters, Emma and Elena, and a dog named Tebow. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family, working with preschool children at her church, being involved with church activities, and somehow still finding time and energy to go to 4M Fitness classes.
Youll always be welcomed by Lisas smile when you come into our office for your dental cleanings. She has been a dental hygienist for over 20 years and worked with Dr. Pourlos for 10 of those years before his retirement. When not cleaning teeth, Lisa enjoys spending time with her husband Greg, her daughter and son in law, Emily and Dale, and her son and daughter in law, Harrison and Michelle. She and her family enjoy traveling, going to the beach and boating. When football season comes, you can catch her and her husband hosting 60-100 people for tailgates at every home Panthers game. Go Panthers!
Kimberly is originally from Staten Island, New York. She moved to North Carolina at the age of 10 and loves it here. She graduated with honors from Fayetteville Community College in 2002. Her passion is helping people, and she does her best to make sure your visit at the dentist is a pleasant one. She has a heart for the anxious patient and strives to put your fears at ease. She is a mother of one grown son and two toy poodles. Kimberly spends her time with friends and family and enjoys music, dancing, the beach, traveling and ice skating.
Kaylee is a recent graduate of the dental hygiene program at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina. She has been a dental assistant since 2017 and enjoys helping patients love their smiles again! She is a dog mom of three: Pebbles, Minnow and Dolly. She loves to travel, hunt, and spend time with her friends and family.
Amy grew up in and lives in South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). In 2011, she graduated from USCL with an associate degree in science and arts. Amy worked for Aldi as an assistant manager for 10 years. In her free time, she is spending time with family, cooking or camping. Amy is a pet lover and built a kennel on her land to help with local strays. She and her husband, Buddy, have multiple fur babies, including 12 dogs and three cats.

Highly recommend!!! Best dentist ever! Dr. Stenvall is SUPERB; her dental work is top notch, and she does a great job communicating the process, making sure I am comfortable and ensuring that the work performed meets the highest standards possible. She also has the magic touch when it comes to numbing patients- I didn't feel a thing. Kim, the hygienist, is fantastic; she is incredibly sweet, gentle, and skilled at her job. When you first walk in, the smiles you get from the front office staff make you feel so welcome, and there's almost no wait time ever. Finally, I love how CARING the staff are here. Kristin and team made sure to check in on me after having my first baby- how sweet is that?! QCDA is over an hour away from me, but they're well worth the commute. I'm here to stay. So happy I found them!

I always have the BEST experience here. I drive 30 minutes to get here, even though I have dentist choices 5 minutes from me because they are that awesome! They are caring and make sure you stay comfortable and are fantastic at communicating.

I encourage anyone wanting excellent dental care to see Dr. Stenvall. She and her staff are excellent. Dr. Stenval is meticulous and gentle in her treatment. She gives very clear alternatives for the patient to choose from. She is painless in giving the shot for Novocaine and waits for the numbing agent to work before moving forward. I have had a lot of dentists in my life and she is one of the absolute best.

I thought I had a chipped tooth, and Queen City Dental Arts worked me in to be seen. It wasn't a chipped tooth, and there was no charge for the visit. I'm very happy with this dentist!
