We are proud to offer many different technologies to align teeth in a way that works for you. We would be glad to go over all of your options so that together we can make the right decision for you and your mouth. We offer digital impressions, 3-D imaging, 3-D printing and laser technology to help achieve the best results. In order to accommodate busy schedules and patients who drive a long distance to have treatment at our office, we also offer Dental Monitoring to track progress more frequently and effectively to help save the number of office trips needed for treatment.

As an extra incentive for patients to keep their teeth healthy during treatment, we offer a Tooth Token program that rewards patients for good oral hygiene and taking care of their braces. Patients earn tokens to save or spend on prizes in our display case, ranging from gift cards to t-shirts and water bottles as our way of encouraging them to take good care of braces and thanking them for their efforts.
There are very few true orthodontics emergencies. Most can be remedied at home. However, if you have a situation that you cannot resolve on your own, call us as soon as possible. If it is after hours, we have a contact number on the answering machine to reach a team member who is on call.
Dr. Richards is married to Dr. Brian Richards, a pediatric dentist in Moline. They are Iowa Hawkeye fans and enjoy football games in the fall. The whole family has a soft spot for dogs so they enjoy the company and shenanigans of two Labrador retrievers and an English Mastiff. When Dr. Richards is out of the office, she enjoys time visiting family and friends and loves and occasional getaway to a beach
Dr. Piepenbrink considers herself to be a lifelong student. She is constantly motivated to expand her knowledge and skills not only in orthodontics but in many aspects of life. Her commitmenttoexcellence has cultivated a passion for orthodontics, and Dr. P loves to work with her patients to create beautiful, confident smiles.
Dr. Piepenbrink is married to Tanner Piepenbrink, a safety manager at John Deere and Illinois State grad. They both grew up in Geneseo and enjoy spending time together outdoors, as well as with their families and friends. In her free time, Dr. P. loves long-distance running, yoga, reading, and musical theater. She has a passion for music and you may catch her humming along to the radio in the office from time to time!

I just finished Invisalign through Quad City orthodontics. Both Dr. Richards and Dr. P are amazing and made my experience so smooth and easy. The staff is very welcoming and professional as well! I recommend them to my family & friends all the time :)

Dr. Richards and her staff are top notch. I went through the gamut of treatments for nine years prior to being referred to QCO, to no avail. Upon our first meeting, I just knew the compassionate and empathetic Dr. Richards would be the one to help me because she actually LISTENED to me & HEARD me and developed a plan to get my bite to fit naturally again and to lessen my TMJ symptoms/migraines. After 2.5 years of treatment, I can finally say that Dr. Richards truly saved my life because before meeting her, I was giving up. Not only did my smile turn out BEAUTIFULLY, but more than that, my migraines are nearly gone, my bite is naturally fitting again, and my family got their bubbly mom/wife/daughter/sister back. I will recommend QCO for everyone I meet! Not enough words or phrases in the English language to express my sincerest gratitude.

Quad City Orthodontics has always been accommodating to my daughter's needs since we started coming to the practice. Extremely professional and caring towards her, always. Plus they have a great incentive program for the kids to make sure they keep up with their dental hygiene
