Dr. Matthew Scheske was born-and-raised in the Fox Cities. He is excited to be able to provide comprehensive, ethical, and gentle dental care to individuals in the community in which he was raised. His commitment to his patients is evident in his high-quality approach to dental health, emphasizing long-lasting relationships with his patients and fostering a sense of security and mutual trust.
Dr. Scheske completed his undergraduate education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majored in Biology and graduated with highest distinction. He continued his studies at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and graduated in the top 10% of his class. Dr. Scheske was involved in numerous extracurricular activities and served as his dental school class president. He was selected for several major senior class awards by his faculty. Dr. Scheske was selected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society for a combination of academic excellence, ethics, and service. He was also awarded the senior oral implantology award from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Scheske was also awarded both the Sullivan Schein Award for excellence in fixed prosthodontics (crown and bridge) and the C. L. Sockwe Award for Excellence in operative dentistry and dental anatomy. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association (ADA), Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), Outagamie County Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Scheske has continued with advanced training in dental implant placement and restoration. He takes several hours of continuing education in many areas of dentistry, but particular dental implant placement in an effort to provide the most cutting edge technology to his patients.
Dr. Scheske and his wife Emily are both natives of the Fox Cities and are proud to call the area their home. They are looking forward to continuing to be a part of such a wonderful community. Outside of practicing dentistry, Dr. Scheske enjoys spending time with his family first and foremost. Dr. Scheske and Emily have a daughter, Madison, and son, Samuel. Dr. Scheske also enjoys hunting and fishing, and doing health volunteer events with Emily. Emily works as a Nurse at a local hospital. Matthew is also an avid fan of the Wisconsin Badgers, Green Bay Packers, North Carolina Tar Heels and Milwaukee Brewers.

I spent most of my life being terrified of the dentist. That was until I met Dr. Dann around 2010. He's so kind and gentle, and even though we have a lot of issues with our teeth, he's helped us through them all, and we've never felt judged. The addition of Dr. Matt has just been the cherry on top of an already awesome practice. He has an advanced skill set, great with kids, and always makes you feel heard. I adore the whole team, and I feel like family when I walk in. I can't say in words how much I appreciate the care they've given my family.

I love going to Pynenberg & Scheske, Taylor is a wonderful hygienist! Dr. Matt is super nice and friendly. They really care about your dental hygiene and are very gentle. I was afraid to go to the dentist and now I love it again.

Dr. Scheske is absolutely amazing. I was terrified to go to any dentist but Dr. Scheske makes you feel as comfortable as possible. My son even did well and the last time he saw a dentist he wouldn't even open his mouth for xrays!

Dr Scheske is wonderful! My son who is 4 needed to get his toung tie cut and was terrified. Dr Scheske and his team made him feel so relaxed and confortable the procedure was quick and painless. We also have him for our family Dentist and we couldnt be happier.

I started out afraid of dentists. Who isn't? That is until I met Dr. Matt and his amazing team. His technicians are so kind to me and thoughtful. I've been seeing doctor Matt and following his practice for many years: my family will only see Dr. Matt and his very special team! He is so kind, explains things to me, ensures I am comfortable, and works with my crazy schedule- not something many can do for a busy student nurse workaholic! Phenomenal experience with Dr. Scheske and his team! Our family missed a few years at the dentist and were bringing our 5 year old for his first dentist visit! Dr. Scheske was so calming, relaxed and provided us all with a wonderful experience, even with our follow-up cavities! Our 5 year old had a cavity and came home after his filling smiling and proud, actually enjoying his time with Dr. Matt and his team! A+ experience, highly recommend!!

Waiting to see Dr. Scheske for my first visit after having to change dentists. It is always a challenge to find a new dentist when things like insurance changes force one to move. Dr Scheske is awesome. He has excellent bedside manner and his staff is friendly and courteous. I had a long afternoon of work done including an implant placement and everything went fantastic. Highly recommended.

Had to replace two fillings and fix a chipped tooth. I haven't had to have that much work done in a long time, but it was a piece of cake!!! Dr. Scheske is awesome. Everything went very well and all throughout was concerned how I was doing. Very thoughtful and considerate dentist. Would highly recommend him.
