My three kids had their first visit with Dr. Pyke and his staff today and had very good experiences with both dentists and the hygienists. Unfortunately we won't be returning. Before we even entered the office we were treated like walking infections. Upon walking up to the door we were met with multiple stop signs warning us not to enter without permission. We were then ushered through a series of steps to prevent our filthy selves from infecting the office....COVID questionnaires, temperature checks, masks, multiple hand sanitations, mouth sanitations, etc. Then they proceeded to remove my kids' masks and dig around in their mouths. What unnecessary COVID theatre!! I have never felt more unwelcome.

This guy is a joke. My 3yr old daughter has been going to Dr. Pike and refused to open her mouth and Dr. Pike would not force her to open her mouth, however we mentioned to him that we have noticed some darker spots on teeth and would be ok if we try to force and check to make sure. He again refused because it would be traumatizing to the child. We went multiple times to try and get her to open mouth but he would do his song and dance and not get anywhere, get frustrated and give up. When my daughter finally opened her mouth, she has multiple cavities and Dr. Pike blamed my wife for not brushing her teeth properly then threatened that she needs to go to the hospital. Made her feel like an awful parent. Went to a new dentist (much better!) and they confirmed the cavities, however they did mention Pike and his staff should of noticed this sooner. Now my daughter does have to go to the hospital to get put under to get cavities taken care of, which is more traumatizing then forcing her to open her mouth months ago to do proper dental work and prevent cavities. PSA we do brush my daughters teeth and were shocked to learn about the cavities. My other 2 kids never had a cavity. Don't fall for Pikes friendliness or the fact he gives cheeseburgers and name in paper for no cavities. When push comes to shove and he has to do real dental work, he fails and will fail your child. Also you have to act like your going into a top secret lab the way he treats everyone because of Covid. We have been to CHOP, pediatricians, other dentists, etc and nobody treats their patients with this insanity like his practice does. Wipe feet, call from car, temp checks, sign temp checks, etc. Focus on doing proper dental work and not having people wipe feet or sign temperature checks!

I'm a first time mom that was told my baby had a tongue/lip tie while in the hospital. A lactation consultant from Einstein recommended Dr. Pyke's office because he uses a laser vs. metal surgical instruments. I was extremely impressed by their covid procedures (negative pressure rooms, sanitation, etc.) Dr. Pyke personally came out to the car upon arrival to explain all of the paperwork for check in. The procedure took seconds and my baby slept the whole time. As a nervous new mom all of my worries were quelled. Highly recommend for parents of newborns with similar issues.

I cannot say enough great things about both, Dr. Pyke and Dr. Galleto and the staff for both. My girls have been going to Dr. Pyke for years and last year we moved to VA but still travel up to this office for their dental needs. They are sooo worth the trip!

Dr Pyke and all of his staff are amazing. My son had a bad experience at another dentist and was scared to death. Dr Pyke made his experience fun and without stress. He had a lot of work to get done over a couple months. They eased into it and gained his confidence. Halfway through and he looks forward to going.

I love Dr. Pyke and his staff. My 4 year old loves going and his office has made the dentist a pleasant experience for her. She's never cried or been afraid. She looks forward to going and associates brushing her teeth with making Dr. Pyke happy. He's great with the kids and explains any issues to parents. You always get a goody bag with a brush, toothpaste and flossers. Plus the kids get a prize. I totally recommend his office.

Dr. Pyke is fantastic. My daughter has some teeth issues - one tooth came in black and had to be pulled at age 2. Dr. Pyke has pulled 12 of her teeth - they just didn't want to fall out - and helped through several situations. My son bent his teeth backwards by banging it on the tub when he was 3. Here's the key. All this and NEITHER child is afraid of going to the dentist! His staff is fantastic as well. Kind, comforting, and accommodating.

Dr Pyke was my dentist my entire childhood and I'm finding it hard to believe the rating is only a 2.8... I loved him. I'm about to make my both kids appointments with him.
