Our family-oriented practice is built on the love for children and the desire to make them comfortable with their dental care. We view each child as a unique individual who must be treated as such to accomplish our goals of a positive dental experience and quality of care. Our goal is to establish a life long relationship of trust and confidence with you and your child. Part of our gentle approach includes creating a fun and comfortable environment for children.
Dr. Hersey carefully selected our professional team based on experience, skill, education, and personality. The result is a team that delivers an absolutely unrivaled level of expert personal care to each and every patient. We find children do very well with restorations and other procedures when given gentle direction and careful explanations of each dental procedure by our highly trained team.

Staff is VERY kid and parent friendly! My son is on the spectrum and usually has sensory issues with anything doctor/dentist related, however, going here for his cleanings/check-ups has been a breeze for him! He even told the dentist that he missed him and feels comfortable and empowered throughout the entire process! Anytime he needs a second to recollect himself, they are very accommodating! They answer all of his (and my) questions and they make dental work fun! I'd give them 20 stars if I could!!

My 3 year old hates the dentist and strangers touching him. He loves Dr. Hersey and Ms. Sarah! And so do I. They are a great practice. The front desk staff is also very nice and super helpful. Clean and kind. Highly recommend.

First time visit to Puyallup Pediatric Dentisry with Dr. Hersey & team. I've never been so pleased with how a dental visit went. My lo has food allergies and they quickly put my fears to rest by listening to me & coming up with a solution to mitigate a possibility of a reaction to what is put in my lo's mouth. They explained everything they were going to do to my lo to help calm his anxiety about being there as well. I highly recommend them! Thank you Puyallup Pediatric Dentistry for taking such good care of us!

Everyone we met was so kind. We went in with a couple nervous kids who hadn't seen a dentist in too long. We left with two happy, enthusiastic kids looking forward to brushing their teeth! The dentist and hygienists were very patient and gentle. It was a peaceful and positive experience for the kids and us parents.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. Dr Hersey has such a talent with kids, especially the little ones. My 4 year old was so happy to get the spider man vitamins put on his teeth. Appts are on time, efficient, age appropriate, all the staff members are kind and professional, and it leaves my kids excited for their next trip there (especially to use the little kids entry door next to the full size entry door). You can be so confident you'll have a great experience here. Don't hesitate, just make the appt!

I had my 1yr old and 2 yr old go in for a check up and of course my girls were scared and were crying but Dr. Hersey and the assistant were patient and calm with them.

I absolutely love the staff and environment here! They talk my kids theiugh everything they are doing so there is never a surprise. Dr. Hersey is great with my autistic son! We will be patients until they age out!

Both of my children are now adults but have gone to Dr. Hersey since they got their first teeth. He and his staff provided an environment that made them feel safe and comfortable.

Dr Hersey and his staff give excellent care. The staff are very friendly and care about each patient. Dr Hersey is excellent with children and completes his exam quickly and efficiently with my toddler. He will also take the time to answer any questions I have. I highly recommend this dental office.
