Our team is trained and skilled, and our treatment team consists of three registered dental hygienists, three assistants, and three business office personnel. Each member of our staff has several years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care, and we strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending education courses and seminars.
Absolutely! Dr. Pohl & his team are equipped and experienced for patients of all ages and can accommodate most physical limitations. We are happy to work with your whole family to meet your dental needs.
We will be happy to inform you of all treatment costs when diagnosed. A treatment plan will include a breakdown of all applicable fees as well as an estimate of how your insurance will assist you. In addition, a pre-authorization can be filed with your insurance company upon request. A portion of your charges may be due at the time of treatment.

During your visit, our team can help you with education and suggestions for whitening your teeth. We also are able to make customized whitening trays for you. We utilize whitening products in the office that are not available in stores.
Early care for your childs mouth is very important. Decisions made at a young age have the potential to affect that childs mouth throughout their entire adult life. At Putnam Family Dental we provide excellent and comprehensive care to your child

Dr Pohl has been a great find. He really wants to take care of his patients and always wants to provide the best care. The office is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr Pohl if you are looking for a great dentist!

If you're looking for a dentist who cares about you and your dental health, DO NOT choose Putnam Family Dental. The office left me in pain for over three months, while lying about submitting prior authorizations for services (as reported by my insurance company). When confronted, I was told by Kelly the office no longer accepts my insurance, which is also a lie. I was ignored, messages went unanswered, and I was even called two hours before an appointment to falsely inform me that insurance had denied my claim and I needed to bring over $400 to the appointment in order to be seen. I had received fillings that fell out within two weeks, and when I called, my requests were ignored, for all of which I have proof. Putnam Family Dental doesn't care about its patients or their dental health, and when confronted, will find many excuses as to why the patient is the problem.

This office has been great to work with! They always take care of myself and my family. The people are friendly and efficient and Dr Pohl is gental and great at what he does! Fantastic office for everyone in your family!

Dr. Pohl and the staff at Putnam Family Dental are always very friendly and compassionate during my visits. Dr. Pohl takes time to answer any questions I have throughout the visit. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone in search of a Dentist and staff who truly care about their patients.

Dr. Pohl is just what you want in a dentist: friendly and communicative, but also a total perfectionist about the work he does; he's quite driven to get it 'just right'. The team is also very friendly and helpful, and work hard to take care of as much of the admin work (insurance, etc.) as possible for you. It's also great that they now have the CEREC machine to make inlays and crowns in one visit. No more temporaries, no more follow-up visit a fortnight later. Wonderful! Not only are they rock-hard, but they're more precisely-made than the lab as Dr. Pohl has complete control over them (the perfectionist thing works here too); to have a tooth drilled, the permanent crown made and fixed, and then be home before the anaesthetic has worn off is amazing.
