Dr. Shah earned her undergraduate degree in psychology/biology from New York Universitys College of Arts and Science. Following graduation, she moved on to New York Universitys College of Dentistry to further pursue her education. After completing dental school, Dr. Shah finished a general practice residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, and then worked as an associate in private practice in Orange County for three years before opening Putnam Dental Arts with Dr. Patel.
Dr. Shah enjoys making an impactful change in peoples lives through both dentistry and education. She likes the fact that a career in dentistry allows her to achieve these goals while also maintaining a great work/family life balance. Around the practice, Dr. Shah is detail oriented and a perfectionist and is constantly making lists to keep things organized. She prides herself on being a nurturing presence with patientsalways eager to share information so they can know more about their own dental health.

Christine has been in the field of dentistry for 23 years; 19 years in general practice and 4 years in oral surgery. The best part of her job is seeing patients get the best dental care available and seeing them smile! She prides herself in making sure patient insurance information is accurate and helping patients utilize their benefits so patients can get the treatment they need. When shes not in the office Chris enjoys cooking, home improvement projects and travel with her husband Rob. She is the proud mom to daughter Laurie and younger son David.

They are very friendly and professional and always on time. I am never kept waiting. I also feel they always give a thorough check up and advise what is needed to be done. Highly recommend this practice.

I'm not a fan of the dentist but have been going to Dr. Patel for years now. They are super patient and all the staff are extremely welcoming and calming. I never have to wait. They keep scheduled appointments and do not double book. Super clean office and provide a professional service.

There are not enough stars here to rate this dental practice!!! They deserve 10 stars!! The doctors and staff in this office go above and beyond with their patients!! First, my child had an injury at school and Christine fit us in right that day. Dr. Shah came in early to take care of him. She was kind and addressed all of my concerns regarding the injury. Secondly, they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything that is being done at your appointment is thoroughly explained, and helpful hints are given to help you maximize your oral health. We were new patients and it was the best oral exam and cleaning I had ever had! Finally, I have VERY sensitive teeth. Dr. Shah was very patient and careful with me so I could get through the appointment with as little pain as possible. If you are shopping for a new dentist, look no further! It is so nice to know that I have a dentist that is truly worried about my well-being!

I used to dread going to the dentist but since I found Putnam Dental Arts it's no longer a dread of mine. Every there is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and makes the time for you. The dentists take the time to go over your routine with you and answer all questions before you appointment is over. Chris at the front desk is a ray of sunshine. She is always in a good mood and works with your schedule to make an appointments. Can't say enough positive things about Putnam Dental Arts.

Dr. Shah is very involved with her patients. She took the time to explain my dental situation in detail with me, and made suggestions regarding improving my personal dental care. The dental staff is also very personable and attentive. I have no doubt that I am receiving the best dental care possible.

Dr. Patel completed several implants with crowns, after a successful sinuslift surgery by Dr. Delveccio, to regrow bone tissue... The crowns look phenomenal and after some days to get used to my new teeth, they feel better than my original teeth. I enjoy eating, chewing on both sides of my mouth on everything from Steak to apples and nuts . Dr Patel exceeded all my expectations and I highly recommend his consummate skill and services to anyone looking for a perfect crown.

Friendly staff. Made me feel welcome and comfortable. I honestly enjoyed how thorough my initial exam was. I was blown away by the camera tool that allows the patient to see their actual tooth from all angles.

Have been using Putnam Dental Arts for a few years now. Dr. Shah is always very gentle, caring and thorough, as is the hygienist. They don't push services or do anything unless it is necessary and always give options. Everyone there is professional and the office is modern. I would definitely recommend them.

I've been going to Putnam Dental for over 10 year's, my husband and 2 son's also. Our experience with them have been exceptional! All of the staff are so much more than just great at what they do.They also make you feel like you're so much more also. Office is very clean, they're so professional and organize. They are all great at what they do. I am very pleased and satisfied with them all. I can not thank them enough for all that they do. I highly recommend Putnam Dental Arts.

I was not asked for my insurance card prior to getting the work done. Then after I was done with my checkup I found out that my insurance was no accepted and I was stuck paying a bill. Very unacceptable
