Dr. Emily Evert, DDS is a passionate believer in conservative and preventative dentistry. She partners closely with her patients and team to establish behaviors that promote a lifetime of great oral health, including for those patients starting treatment later in life. Dr. Everts practice is founded on dental health care preferring to establish healthy daily prevention routines over dental procedures. In addition, she and her team seek to create a fun, outgoing office environment. Between these two aspects, you can expect an office experience of quality care, comfort, and trust.
Personally, Dr. Evert is passionate about sharing the gift of a healthy smile with everyone. Since establishing her practice in Tucson, Dr. Evert has been involved and highly regarded throughout the Southern Arizona community. In partnership with Arizona Oncology, her practice is proud to offer gratis dental work to cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatment. On select weekends, Dr. Evert can be found on the local military bases, thanking active servicemen by providing oral health screenings and dental procedures. Periodically, Dr. Evert participates in free dental days to enable access to quality dental work for all Tucsonians.
Prior to establishing her practice in Tucson, Dr. Evert completed a general dentistry residency at Louisiana State University College of Dentistry, including a certification in moderate sedation. During her residency Dr. Evert completed rotations in the Emergency Department (Our Lady of the Lake Hospital) and the Baton Rouge Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital. Dr. Evert is a graduate of the New York University College of Dentistry, with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (D.D.S.). Prior to finding her passion for dental care, Dr. Evert graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!) with a degree in Nutrition Science. Dr. Evert is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD). Her office offers the latest in advanced screening and cavity detection techniques. In addition, Dr. Evert is a Preferred Invisalign Provider.

I'll start off by saying I have the biggest fear of dentists. I was in need of an extraction that I couldn't put off. Once I was there they put me at ease with their manner of professionalism and empathy. I have already scheduled my cleaning and routine care appt. Something I havnt done in my adult life and I'm 40. They made me feel comfortable and i am grateful for Dr. Evert and the amazing staff!!!

This was my first visit and I absolutely love this place! The staff is super friendly and the is Super Nice! She was So Nice and took the time to explain everything that needed to be done. Love the dentist. Highly recommend this place

My hygienist was Taylor and she was wonderful. Very caring and gentle. Dr. Evert was conscientious and I really felt like she had my best interests in mind in her suggestions. My first visit was a big success!

Honestly, I am not one to leave bad reviews online. But because of my experience here, I have to. I left my old dentist that I had been going to for many years because of an insurance change. I am 17 years old and have NEVER had any cavities, no dental procedures/ problems, nothing ever wrong with my teeth. Upon arrive at Pusch Peak, I had many X-rays done. It took over an hour for them to complete all of the X-rays done by machines I had never seen before. Finally, Dr. Evert came into the room and before even LOOKING inside my mouth, she told me I had 4 cavities. She said quote "X-ray's don't lie". I was very emotional at this point because like I mentioned, I have NEVER had cavities and was being told I needed 4 fillings. I knew she was incorrect so I opted for a second opinion. I went back to my old dentist who I trust, and paid out of pocket to see if I really had any cavities. Got new X-rays taken and this dentist actually looked inside my mouth at my teeth. Guess what? ZERO cavities. Not even any sign of any possibility of a cavity. I knew my suspicions were correct. AVOID this dentistry at all costs. There are much better options out there who actually care about YOU, and not just making money.This experience was honestly traumatic for me as someone with slight medical anxiety. Being told I have things wrong with me when in reality, I have nothing wrong with me. Dr. Evert, you should look at your patients as people and not profit.
