Dr. Marisela Sinclair, DDS, a dentist in Encinitas CA, has been actively engaged in the dental industry since 2004. She began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant and had the privilege of assisting several top cosmetic dentists in the San Diego Region. Since then, Dr. Marisela Sinclair established her dental office and began providing dentistry in Encinitas. Dr. Sinclair possesses a bachelors degree in Biological sciences from Cal State San Marcos and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dr. James Salazar graduated from San Diego State University and the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. He has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in San Diego since 1999. He takes great pride in his comprehensive, honest and perfectionistic approach to dentistry, caring for patients of all ages.
Dr. Salazar earned accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in 2011. Through the AACD Accreditation process and his private practice patient cases, he has proven his exceptional skills at smile makeovers, cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers and crowns, esthetic implant restorations and general dentistry.
He is committed to continuing education in cosmetic, general and comprehensive advanced restorative dentistry. He keeps up with the latest technology and techniques to bring his patients the safest care and most effective results. He is a member of the San Diego Spear Study Club and the Spear Faculty Club at the prestigious Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, AZ, a center for comprehensive advanced dental education, where he has completed many courses.
In addition to being an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and a Faculty Club Member at the Spear Education Center, he is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS).

Having a lot of dental work done which has been excellent. Now they are performing root canals in office. Just had a root canal done today and no pain during or after. Highly recommend. :)

Fantastic experience with Dr. Salazar. Major restoration on my teeth including Invisalign, crowns, gum work, and implant. Dr. Salazar managed the entire process and a year later I continue to get comments on how good my smile looks. I could not be happier with the result!

I broke a front tooth clean off at the gum line and looked like a pumpkin. Its amazing how unsettling it can be to be missing a front tooth. As it was a Saturday my regular dentist was not available and Dr. Salazar was on call. Well this guy opened the office just for me and came in alone on a Saturday to take care of me and did a phenomenal job. I swear that the temporary crown he put on looked identical to a natural tooth. Dr. Salazar exemplifies what a doctor should be. Extremely talented, and cared about a patient he had never even met. Phenomenal.
