Dr. Marisela Sinclair, DDS, a dentist in Encinitas CA, has been actively engaged in the dental industry since 2004. She began her career as a Registered Dental Assistant and had the privilege of assisting several top cosmetic dentists in the San Diego Region. Since then, Dr. Marisela Sinclair established her dental office and began providing dentistry in Encinitas. Dr. James Salazar graduated from San Diego State University and the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. He has been practicing general and cosmetic dentistry in San Diego since 1999. He takes great pride in his comprehensive, honest and perfectionistic approach to dentistry, caring for patients of all ages.
Dr. Salazar earned accreditation with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in 2011. Through the AACD Accreditation process and his private practice patient cases, he has proven his exceptional skills at smile makeovers, cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers and crowns, esthetic implant restorations and general dentistry.
He is committed to continuing education in cosmetic, general and comprehensive advanced restorative dentistry. He keeps up with the latest technology and techniques to bring his patients the safest care and most effective results. He is a member of the San Diego Spear Study Club and the Spear Faculty Club at the prestigious Spear Education Center in Scottsdale, AZ, a center for comprehensive advanced dental education, where he has completed many courses.
In addition to being an Accredited Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) and a Faculty Club Member at the Spear Education Center, he is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), the San Diego County Dental Society (SDCDS).

I cannot say enough good things about purely dental! Dr. Salazar and his team are amazing. They are kind and professional and take excellent care of you. Dr. Salazar is extraordinary!! He is the best cosmetic dentist there is, I purposely sought him out because I knew I wanted him to be the one to work on my teeth, And he completely transformed my smile and I will be forever greatful!!

I've been to many offices in San Diego and north county, but this is where I will stay! I received such a great service from everybody: receptionist, nurse and doctor Jim. He was so knowledgeable, patient and to the point. Love the relaxed and clean atmosphere too, highly recommend, best dentist in North county!

A crown I had cracked and completely broke late this past Thursday night. I was scheduled to fly back east for my nephews wedding on Friday. My dentist is off on Friday. I didn't know who to call. I read the reviews for Purely Dental and called their office early Friday morning. Carolyn and the rest of the staff went above and beyond and fit me into their morning schedule. The whole staff was amazing! Dr. Salazar is kind, sincere, thorough and friendly. He made me feel calm and confident. He is a Pro.....Highly recommend! Thank you Purely Dental!
