Dr. Hein is a Bloomington native, a graduate of Bloomington South High School, and the Indiana University School of Dentistry. For the last 20 years he has lived in Valparaiso where he was a partner in a large practice. South central Indiana has always held a special place in his heart and with his children grown, he decided to take the leap and relocate here. Dr. Hein is excited for the future of Pure Zen Dentistry. His goal to provide our patients the utmost dental care in a relaxing and fun enviroment. Dr. Hein furthers his dental education by regularly attending continuing education courses in cosmetic, restorative, and general dentistry.
Dr. Krithika Rajkumar is a specialist in periodontics and implantology. She specializes in treatment of gum disease including cosmetic procedures to aesthetically enhance your smile, as well as dental implants that can replace single or multiple missing teeth.
Marcy is our Practice Manager and has been with the office for more than 10 years. Her advanced knowledge of every aspect of the dental office enables her to provide guidance for both our patients and the practice. A firm believer in knowledge is power, she is more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
Laura is our Expanded Functions Assistant. With more than 5 years of service, she has become an invaluable member of our team. Her gentle touch and friendly chairside manner helps patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit. Laura truly enjoys her career and her favorite part of dentistry is seeing the results that cosmetic dentistry can do for her patients.
She was born in California but raised in Indianapolis. Laura is fluent in Spanish and outside of work she enjoys watching movies, photography, and traveling.She loves dogs, specifically her Shar Peis Gino and Mochi. You can follow their adventures on Instagram @ginoandmochi!
Kristin is one of our rock star hygienists and has been with the practice for more than 7 years. In fact, she has a strong patient fan following!She enjoys building long lasting relationships with each of her patients. She revels in educating patient on their oral health and helping them maintain it.She graduated from the IUN Dental Hygiene Program in 2010 with the Rebekah Fisk Memorial Award.
In her spare time, Kristin keeps busy chasing after her toddler and two dogs. She is also a DIY aficionado and has completed multiple huge renovations. Ask her what projects she's tackling, the next time you are in her chair!
Angelique puts the Zen in our hygiene department! An Indy native with two grown children, she earned her dental hygiene associate degree and public health BS degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry. She has been in private practice since 2004.
When she isn't in the dental office, Angelique is a 500RYT yoga instructor. She teaches group yoga classes, leads yoga teacher training and offers Thai massage.It's not uncommon for her to treat her patients to a gentle head and neck massage after a long procedure
