Dr. Mary Ellen Wynn has combined quality, comprehensive general dentistry with personalized care for every single person who walks through the door. Dr. Wynn graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. She offers a full range of gentle and effective preventative, restorative, cosmetic and implant procedures. Her state-of-the-art office on the westside of Cincinnati includes technology for safely performing a conservative dental treatment that produces natural-looking results.
Dr. Wynn was named Top Dentist 2015 by the Cincinnati Magazine. Not only is Dr. Wynn great at treating teeth, shes also tremendous at treating you. When Dr. Wynns wearing her white lab coat, we like to think of her as our knight in shining armor. Soon you might as well.
Dr. Craig Friesinger grew up in Cincinnati and attended Xavier University. He continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1978. Dr. Friesinger owned his practice in Ohio for many years before retiring in 2004 due to health issues. Able to practice again, Dr. Friesinger joined the Pure Smiles team in March 2022. Known for his gentle dentistry, Dr. Friesinger treats patients as if they are family.
Myia was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She joined the Pure Smiles Western Hills practice in 2017. Her favorite thing about work is the tight-knit group of co-workers around her. Myia is a member of the Cincinnati Area Dental Professionals.
When she isnt working, April can often be found exercising, watching kids at their sporting events, and spending time with family and friends. April is an animal lover and has a 2-year-old goldendoodle named Marley.
Stephanie was born and raised in Kentucky. In 2021 she received her Associate Degree in Applied Science of Dental Hygiene. Stephanie joined our Pure Smiles team in February 2022. She is a member of The National Society of Collegiate Scholars and the American Dental Hygienists Association. Stephanie enjoys helping her patients to improve their oral care and overall health. She works hard to build relationships and educate patients so they can live their best lives while also building their confidence.
When Stephanie isnt at work, she enjoys spending time with family, playing with her dog, antique/thrift store shopping, taking photos, or cleaning and organizing homes. Stephanies goal is to travel the world and visit everywhere at least once!
Shelly was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Following high school, Shelly completed Dental Assistant training. She joined Pure Smiles Western Hills in November of 2021. Shelly enjoys helping patients understand their oral health.

The staff is very inviting and pleasant. I did not feel nervous or worried once. The dental hygienist was very very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail. In a way I could understand and not feel overwhelmed due to past experiences with horrible dentist. I am a widowed veteran of the U.S. Army and it's very hard to find a dental safe haven these days. These ladies nailed it!!!! Absolutely one of the most positive experiences that I have had the pleasure of going through. Thank you ladies so very much in everything you do! You are all very very amazing and I appreciate you very much! Keep up the outstanding and absolutely mind-blowing work you do.

I've been coming here since I was a child and every staff member I've ever met has been fantastic and kind. Having your mouth poked around at can be uncomfortable for many people (including myself) so I think friendly staff can make all the difference. They also give good feedback on oral habits and cleaning which is great since I have a permanent retainer. Less important but I also just love the interior of the building! Many doctors offices feel cold and sterile but their waiting room feels almost like a living room and there's lots of natural light. I always appreciated that as a kid when I was waiting for my sibling to be done with their appointments.

Needed to desperately find a dentist that wouldn't make me feel bad about the condition of my teeth, and was also covered by my insurance. I was lucky to find this place. They immediately made me comfortable and all of the staff I encountered were lovely.

I have gone to Dr. Wynn's practice for years. I left in 2003 for Chicago and was welcomed back with open arms when I returned in 2016. When I need above usual work, I get great estimates and all work I've gotten has been long lasting. I took my kids when they were school age and the office was great as a family dentistry. I highly recommend.

I always have a great experience when I visit Dr. Mary Ellen Wynn's office. The staff is courteous and kind. They are also very punctual. I've never had to wait in the waiting room to be seen. They take the time to get to know you and your family. Every time I go in there they are asking about mine wife and kids. I would highly recommend them.

Dr. Wynn and her staff are extremely professional and conscientious with their work. In a time where quality lacks in favor of quantity with many dentists, I can honestly say this is not the case with their staff! Great job!!!
