Originally a dentist from India, I received my masters degree in Prosthodontics (Advanced training in complex dental treatments), graduating from Indiana University in 2006. I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy in 2008 with a DDS degree and continued teaching in my specialty. However, I greatly missed working on patients and creating healthy smiles. Therefore, I became an associate and practiced dentistry for 5 years before starting up on my own. Now I enjoy giving the highest quality dental care for my patients. I believe in being a life long learner in dentistry and also in life as we continue to evolve.

Hello I am Karyssa , the dental assistant at Pure Smiles. I have over 5 years of experience as a dental assistant although I continue to learn every day! I graduated from Baker College with an associate degree of Applied Science in both Education and Dental Hygiene. I am licensed in both Michigan and Florida and certified to deliver local anesthetics, Nitrous and LBR.
I am a wife of 14 years and mother of 4 wonderful children. I spend all of my free time going to my children's sports events or volunteering help where its needed. As a family we also enjoy fishing, tubing and being on our four wheelers.
