Dr. Stephanie Ollom grew up in Wauseon, Ohio and became interested in dentistry at a young age. This led her to attend the University of Cincinnati where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, followed by The Ohio State University where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery.

Prior to opening Pure Smiles, Dr. Stephanie wanted to serve her country. In 2012, she was commissioned as a lieutenant in the United States Navy. While in the Navy, Dr. Stephanie completed the Great Lakes Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency, served overseas operating a remote dental clinic, and had the distinct honor of providing dental services to fellow service members and their families.

After completion of her service, Dr. Stephanie Ollom moved back to Ohio to join her husband, Dr. Chad Ollom. Together they have three sweet girls, Sloane, Sage, and Sofie. They love getting to spend time together as a family biking, running, and swimming.

Dr. Stephanie is committed to lifelong learning and the practice of dentistry. Over the years, she has obtained extensive training in CAD/CAM dentistry. Additionally, she recently completed a series on the study of Comprehensive Orthodontics and several courses at the world-renowned Kois Center.

Dr. Michael Cobb grew up in Ohio and attended John Carroll University where he earned his Bachelor of Science in biology. Following graduation from John Carroll University, Dr. Cobb attended The Ohio State University where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1995. While in dental school, Dr. Cobb began honing his skills, which enabled him to provide a wide range of services that ensure patient satisfaction, comfort, and health. With more than twenty-five years of experience in group dental practices, Dr. Cobbs greatest strength is his ability to effectively communicate with patients, which puts them at ease.

Along with his most recent position at Lutheran Social Services and the Clinic at Faith Mission, where he was providing dental care for veterans and homeless individuals, Dr. Cobb has practiced in both group and private practices. All of these experiences helped Dr. Cobb hone his skills in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry including endodontic therapy, oral surgery, and prosthodontics.

Janie was born in Lima, Ohio, and raised in Bluffton, Ohio. She graduated from Bluffton High School and went on to attend Northwestern Business College (UNOH). Janie has been with the Pure Smiles Findlay practice for more than 40 years!

Marti was born and raised in Clayton, Ohio. She is credentialed as a CPC-A (Certified Professional Coder Apprentice) through the American Academy of Professional Coders and is a member of the American Health Information Management Association. Marti enjoys being able to help patients. She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Management from Sinclair Community College. Martis goals include completing her Associate Degree of Applied Science degree in Health Information Management and continuing her education to earn her bachelors degree. She hopes to live in Columbus someday.

Jenny was born and raised in Idaho. She joined Pure Smiles Findlay in October 2018. One of Jennys favorite things about the dental industry is helping people enjoy better health. She also loves the fun that she and her co-workers have together.

When she is not at work, Jenny can be found at her remodeled 120-year-old farmhouse. She enjoys baking, gardening and reading. Jenny has been married for 29 years to Craig. They have two adult children who currently live too far away!

Laura was born and raised in Connersville, Indiana. One of Lauras favorite things about working in the dental industry is the interaction with the patients and staff. Laura enjoys a sense of satisfaction with the work that she does.

Lisa was born in Bluffton, Ohio, and raised in Pandora, Ohio. She is a graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School and Bluffton College. Lisa holds a Bachelors Degree in secondary education and English. Lisa spent 25 years as a full-time youth worker serving students at Cory-Rawson and Liberty-Benton and joined Pure Smiles Findlay in July 2020. Her favorite thing about working in the dental industry is the patients! She enjoys being able to play a general role in their health, pain relief and smiles. In her short time with the practice, Lisa has enjoyed learning beside experts in the field and looks forward to learning more about dentistry every day.

Lisa is active with her church and also volunteers with a local food box distribution. In her free time, Lisa volunteers at Read for Life at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library. She also enjoys reading, spending time with her great-nieces and great-nephews, baking, crafting and sharing long talks with friends and family. Lisa also belongs to a book club and is a freelance writer. A fun fact about Lisa is that she is a three time guest speaker at Echo Ranch Bible Camp and she has traveled to Alaska.

Stephanie was born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana. Following high school, Stephanie went on to complete some college courses. She joined the Pure Smiles Findlay team in May of 2021. Stephanie enjoys the teamwork at the office and likes helping the patients.

Kathy was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. Following high school, Kathy attended Lima Technical College where she completed her Associates Degree of applied science in dental hygiene. Kathy joined the Downtown Findlay Dental practice in 1989. One of Kathys favorite things about working in the dental industry is the relationships she has with her patients. Kathy enjoys her work family and the bonds they have made over the years.

Kathy belongs to St. Gerards Church in Lima, Ohio. Her goal is to become more active at her church after she retires. Kathy also enjoys occasionally working at Shirleys Gourmet Popcorn and has done so for four years. One of Kathys hobbies includes raising chickens.

Jackie was born in Defiance, Ohio, and raised in Miller City, Ohio. Following high school, Jackie achieved her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined Pure Smiles Findlay in July 1997. One of Jackies favorite things about working in the dental industry is working with the patients and seeing improvements in their overall oral health.

Laura was born in Lima, Ohio, and raised in rural Ottawa, Ohio. She completed her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from Lima Technical College and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association. Laura joined Pure Smiles Findlay part-time in 2015 and full-time in June 2017. Her favorite thing about working in the dental industry is developing relationships with many wonderful patients over the years. She enjoys helping people gain and improve their oral health.

When she is not at work, Laura can be found exercising, completing home improvement projects, and spending time with her husband and their adult children. A fun fact about Laura is that she was raised on a dairy farm and is the youngest of nine children!

Shelly was raised in Ottawa Ohio. She completed her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Dental Hygiene at Lima Technical College. She joined Pure Smiles Findlay in 1983. Her favorite thing about working in the dental industry is helping the patients to have the best oral health and working with her co-workers who are like family.

Courtney was born in Bryan, Ohio and raised in Sherwood, Ohio. She is a 2013 graduate of Fairview High School and continued her education at the University of Cincinnati to achieve her degree in dental hygiene. Courtney joined our Findlay practice in June 2021. She enjoys getting to help people and making a difference.

Becky was born in Lima, Ohio, and raised in Ottawa, Ohio. She is a graduate of Ottawa-Glandorf High School. Becky enjoys learning more about dentistry and has attended radiography courses and many other dental-related courses over the years. Becky joined the Downtown Findlay Dental practice in February 1997. She spent 16 years previous to that with a dental office in Ottawa. One of Beckys favorite things about working in the dental industry is restoring someones smile with anterior cosmetic dentistry. She also enjoys celebrating birthdays or milestones of co-workers and doctors. Becky is proud of the fact she has been in the dental field for 40 years!

Becky is a member of the SPP Rosary Altar Society at her church. She is also a member of B & B Mothers Club since 1982 and the Catholic Ladies of Putnam County Prayer Group. When she is not working, Becky enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband have two amazing sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and three adorable grandchildren. She enjoys taking photos and making various types of crafts. She and her husband spend a lot of time at the lake with friends.

Betty was born in Colorado and raised in California, Indiana, and Ohio. She is a graduate of Findlay High School and Owens Community College. Betty joined the practice in February 2014. Bettys favorite thing about working in the dental industry is the esthetics of dentistry. Bettys love for dentistry developed at the beginning of her dental career in a crown and bridge lab. Betty enjoys working at Pure Smiles Findlay with her co-workers.

Jenae was born in Oregon, Ohio and raised in Millbury, Ohio. She is a 2003 graduate of Lake High School. Following graduation, Jenae attended Owens Community College for two years in pre-dental hygiene while on scholarship playing softball for the college. Jenae then attended Toledo Dental Academy for Dental Assisting. With 16 years of experience, Jenae joined our Findlay location in April 2021. She enjoys her home-away from home with her family of co-workers. She also looks forward to building relationships with the patients while helping ease their fears! Seeing their changing smiles is something Jenae looks forward to.

Kyra was born and raised in Ohio. She joined the Pure Smiles team in February 2022. Kyra loves dentistry because it is never boring and she looks forward to making patient connections and spending time with her work family. In her free time, Kyra enjoys spending time with her family and watching movies.

Raised in Lima, Ohio and a graduate of Lima Central Catholic, Alexis received her Certified Dental Assistant Certification in 2018. She continued her education at Owens Community College where she achieved her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification in 2020. Alexis joined our Pure Smiles Findlay team in August 2021. Alexis enjoys sharing her artistic talents when placing restorations as well as helping a patient to experience a boost in their confidence by restoring their amazing smile. She looks forward to furthering her knowledge in her career.

Alexis enjoys hobbies such as camping, motorcycle riding, hiking, and playing tennis. She never settles for less than what she has always hoped for (author unknown) and looks forward to every moment with her fianc, their children, and their dog; Casper.

Alicia was born and raised in Ohio. Following high school, Alicia completed her certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. She joined Pure Smiles Findlay in 2022. Alicia enjoys helping patients feel more confident with their smiles. When she isnt at work, Alicia can often be found renovating her home. Alicia has her goals set for retirement, but in the meantime she will remain focused on being kind and brave.
