Dr. Michelle Gilich was born and raised on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Mississippi, then went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. Dr. Gilich has more than 10 years of experience and countless hours of continuing education to ensure she provides excellent quality modern dental care to every patient.
Dr. Gilich maintains memberships in several professional organizations, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the Mississippi Dental Association (MDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and the Greater Gulfport Dental Society. She lives in Ocean Springs with her husband Andy and their daughter Ansley. When not at work, Dr. Gilich enjoys boating, travel, and spending time with her family and her dog, Brady.

I've been a patient of Pure Smiles for 5 years now and I actually enjoy coming to the dentist now. Scheduling an appointment is easy, staff is always kind and they're always on schedule. This clinic makes my anxiety of going to the dentist decrease. I would recommend Pure Smiles for anyone looking for a dentist!

From the time I walked in, to the time I left I received wonderful service. It's not so easy being in the military and having to find a new dentist everytime we PCS. The front worker was friendly, the doctor was patient and injected the shots for my deep cleaning in such a way that I barely felt pain and the hygienist that completed my cleaning was so thorough, kind and gave me the best information and plan to improve my oral care. Thank you; I look forward to seeing you all!
