Dr. Terry Vines was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. At the age of 12, he moved to California. He attended Brigham Young University and received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry. His childhood dream, since the age of 11, of becoming a dentist has been realized and he has been practicing dentistry in the city of Redlands since 1987. Dr. Vines is a current member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Tri-County Dental Society.
After treating patients for 26 years, Dr. Vines still enjoys practicing all aspects of dentistry. He has a special passion for cosmetic dentistry especially porcelain veneers and composite bonding. Dr. Vines also enjoys treating patients with removable complete and partial denture needs.
True to his passion of restoring historic buildings, Dr. Vines moved his dental practice in 2005 from the historic Vine Street location to the newly restored 8000 square feet location. The Mutual Orange Distributors, a co-operative of orange growers that was once a major contributor to the local economy from 1927 to 1989, established the present dental office location, as the historic Pure Gold Building. Today, we are called Pure Gold Professionals in Dentistry. Along with Cosmetic and General Dentistry, we provide specialty services in Advanced Periodontics and Implant Surgery, Orthodontics, and Pediatric Dentistry.
For over 20 years in Redlands, Dr. Vines has built a substantial practice that features some of the most experienced professionals in the area. Quality personalized treatment is stressed from our dental assistants, dental hygienists, associate dentists and specialists.

During the turn of the century orange boom, Redlands was made a center of wealth on the West Coast. Mutual Orange Distributors, a co-operative of orange growers that was once a major contributor to the local economy, broke ground in 1927 for offices at the corner of Brookside Avenue and Grant Street. In 1956, the name was changed to Pure Gold. The company finally folded in 1989, long after its Redlands packing house had closed its doors.

Dr. Brian W. Kwong was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where he graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Kwong received his dental education at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Kwong has been in dental practice for over 15 years in the Inland Empire and has been a long time associate of Dr. Vines. Previously he was in group practice in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, and San Bernardino.
Dr. Brian W. Kwong earned Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) on June 29, 2015. The awarding of Fellowship status is an honor which a professional society such as ICOI bestows on a dental professional involved in dental implant treatment. The ICOI has a Fellowship program in which active members are encouraged to achieve Fellowship status through their efforts in education, research and actual clinical experience.
