Dr. Purdy has been in practice for 30 years and is proud to serve families in the area at his home-grown practice, passed down from his father. Dr. Purdys father served the dentistry community since 1958 and Dr. Purdy took over the practice in 1997. He is committed to helping people in need and has the skill set to provide for patient needs at a higher level.

We feel that it is our responsibility to alleviate patient fears and anxiety surrounding dental care. The biggest fear in dentistry is often injections, but you can turn to Dr. Purdy for gentle injections and an overall pleasant experience. Dr. Purdys advanced trainings have allowed him to understand patient fear and ensure every patient feels comfortable and relaxed during treatment. Our laser procedures and other techniques could negate the need for injection.

Best needle man I've ever experienced. Zero pain, not even from numbing with the needle. Amazing technique. Difficult to schedule appts at the moment probably due to Covid backlog. Other than that.... five + stars. Update -- Been with this practice about 2 years now. Dr. Purdy is nothing short of amazing. He's super smart and a perfectionist with teeth. He just finished a nasty root canal that was super difficult on me. I'm so impressed -- anyone else would have pulled the tooth, but he was able to save it. His patience and skill are amazing.

Unbelievably unethical billing! In 2017, due to a root problem, one of my lateral incisors (a front tooth) suddenly broke off at the gum line. Before I could deal with the deeper issues (through implant surgery), I needed a temporary cosmetic fix to fill in the gap. So Dr. Purdy literally glued my detached tooth back on and CHARGED ME FOR A CROWN!!! Since I recently had my first real crown put in (at a different office), I now realize how much goes into the process. But Purdy spent very little time gluing back MY OWN TOOTH and then charged me over $400 - by billing me for a temporary crown. (Just so there is no confusion: that's over $400 ON TOP OF other charges for services involved in the visit.) Even at that time I knew this wasn't right and complained, underscoring the fact that I was paying virtually all of the cost out of pocket. The office manager stepped in; I found her to be incredibly rude, and, ultimately, I felt bullied into compliance!

I took my 2 teenage daughters to Dr. Marc for a cleaning and evaluation. First of all, they were both extremely reluctant to goto the dentist at all due to negative past experiences with their previous dentist. They saw Ashley B for their xrays and cleanings and she was so gentle and caring with them both. She made them feel so comfortable. Then they saw Dr. Marc for a evaluation of treatment needs. He explained everything that he recommends they have done, extremely well. Dr Marc is very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend this office for any dental needs. My daughter's no longer fear going to the dentist! As a parent, that is a huge relief.

I moved to the area after living in the New York Metro for decades, and I had been seeing the same dentist for decades. I was concerned about receiving the same level of care in a much smaller area, but Dr. Marc and his colleagues frankly blew me away. The office is so up-to-date, clean, efficient and professional, and Dr. Marc really knows his stuff. I recommend this practice very highly.

I had a broken molar and was in excruciating pain. I was not a patient of Dr Purdys prior to my call so was extremely surprised that I was able to get an appointment the next day. At the appointment, I was impressed with how quickly I was seen and the level of professionalism with all of the staff I worked with. The consultation was straightforward and I felt like all my questions were answered. I was given different treatment options and took the one that best suited my needs. They were able to do the extraction the same day. It was painless and even the next day I am still feeling pretty good. I highly recommend Dr. Purdy for your dental needs.

After spending most of my life with high anxiety surrounding going to the dentist, I have finally found the right dentist for me. Dr. Marc Purdy and his staff are so kind, gentle and understanding of the fears and anxiety I have. The exams and work they have completed is far and beyond what I have experienced from other dentists in town. This office truly cares about the health and wellbeing of their patients. They take the time to do a thorough examination and Dr. Purdy is very gentle and accommodating during procedures. It is absolutely night and day from what I've experienced elsewhere. I have had cleanings from Ashley B and Ashley T, and they are both very kind, gentle, friendly, and take the time to explain things, answer questions and make you feel absolutely normal for having all those big feelings at the dentist. If you experience any dental fears or anxiety like I do, I absolutely would 100% recommend them.

This is the best dentist I have ever visited. They clearly know what they are doing and are extremely thorough. Throughout my visit, they explained everything and answered all my questions clearly and fully. For the first time, I actually feel informed about my oral health and situation. I left feeling really happy and good. I was given clear next steps on how to maintain my oral health and ensure long term hygiene. Dr. Purdy's office is fully set up for Covid-19 and I felt very safe throughout my visit. I cannot stress enough how pleasant my visit was, how confident and good I feel about my oral health, and how informed I now am about my oral situation.
