Over the last 20+ years, it has been truly rewarding to witness the significant changes that occur in a patients self-confidence following orthodontic treatment. I feel blessed to positively influence the lives of those around me through the creation of beautiful smiles. Facial appearanceisan important aspect of every persons character and self-esteem.

I attend numerous conferences on an annual basis to assure we can continue to provide our patients with the highest level of orthodontic care. As an orthodontic technology leader, I have presented at a number of orthodontic conferences, including the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session in 2013 (Philadelphia), 2014 (New Orleans), and invited for 2015 (San Francisco). Our office was featured by the AAO in an article that highlightedthe paperless orthodontic practice.
I am a native of Northwest Indiana and live here with my wifeMary Carol, our children, Caroline, Charlie, and Elizabeth, and our Yellow Lab, Maisy. I enjoy attending and participating in my childrens activities, playing golf, and attending Notre Dame sporting events.I partner with several organizations dedicated to helping kids from low-income families receive braces. I am a past director of theCatholic Foundation for Northwest Indiana.
I currently reside in Valparaiso with my wifeKristen, our daughters, Lilly, Ruby, and Lexy, and dog, Ginger, the Basenji. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family,basketball, and traveling.
The eld of orthodontics really allows us to make a visible transformation in our patients lives. I love meeting new patients and guiding them through treatment to create a beautiful result. I strive for excellence and perfection in my work.
I am so excited to be joining the team at Puntillo & Crane Orthodontics. I look forward to providing patients with the same high-quality orthodontic care and excellent customer service that this team currently provides. I am thankful they have chosen me to work alongside them in creating an aesthetic and functional result.
To build on the knowledge I gained from my formal education, I participate in ongoing study and training. Continuing education allows me to offer high-quality treatment through the new knowledge that I have gained. It allows for a better overall experience for the patient, as we are able to use the newest technology and information available in the eld of orthodontics.
I am originally from Crown Point, Indiana, and have lived in Chicago for four years. My husband Aaron and I have two children; Beckett is three and Landon is six months. When Im not in the office, I spend my free time running, baking, and playing with my boys!

I would give more stars if I could. I'm not even done with my treatment yet and I'm so happy I went with Dr. Puntillo. He has been one of the best doctors I've ever had and the staff are wonderful as well. My bite and teeth were misaligned from an injury and I thought I was going to need surgery again. Dr. Puntillo assured me that I didn't need it and the braces alone will work and he was completely right! Basically all my jaw pain has gone away and my teeth are looking better than ever. My confidence is back and I'm feeling like my old self again! Dr. Puntillo goes above and beyond for his patients and I could not be more grateful. He has called me on two different occasions when I had some issues and for a doctor to do that is just amazing. Thank you Dr. Puntillo and staff for making a huge difference in my life and helping me out tremendously! You guys are awesome

We are super excited that we went with Puntillo and Crane. My daughter needed the expander and the herbst device, we couldn't believe the difference it made within a few months of them being placed! Dr. Crane has been amazing with my daughter and her anxiety. The whole staff always makes us feel comfortable and greets us with smiles. Thank you!

I am very pleased with the courtesy and professionalism my daughter and I have received from day one. We had considered another orthodontist, but when I met with Dr. Puntillo, he listened to my daughter and I, offered up different treatment plans and allowed us to help in deciding what treatment plan was best for my child. I can not say enough positive things about this practice, from their front desk staff, to financial staff, their clinical team and the doctor himself. Price of treatment was reasonable, and my daughter has had minimal discomfort to date.

Dr Crane and staff have been wonderful to work with! I had braces as a teen and my teeth had shifted significantly in the past few decades. I went with the Invisalign treatment plan to straighten my teeth and help with my headaches (not all treatments can help with headaches, but I wanted to give this a try!). I'm so pleased with my results! I get compliments on my smile all the time and it has helped with my headaches. I was a bit nervous going in at first because I was an older patient. After my first visit, I never felt awkward or too old to go in. ALL of the staff is professional & friendly, they will answer any questions.

This place is phenomenal! Myself and 2 of my daughters go here and have been to every location and seen all 3 doctors and the service is unmatched. From the care, scheduling, office cleanliness, I love it all. Came from a horrible experience with a previous orthodontist and got referred to puntillo by my dentist and haven't looked back. Thank you all for saving our smiles the Moore family truly appreciates you gosh I sound like a info commercial lol but seriously they truly are that great

I had a very positive experience with my orthodontic work. The staff was always friendly, professional and thorough. No waiting for a long time. I was in and out every appointment. The office is extremely clean and I felt very safe during my visits as I got my ortho work started right as COVID hit. My son also got his ortho work done here. They are great with kids.

My son had his first phase of braces in 2019 and just started second phase yesterday. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly! We have never had a bad experience. Would definitely recommend!!

I went in yesterday for my 1st set of invisalign trays. So far, I'm very pleased with my experience there. Very friendly staff and doctor. They really took their time answering all of my questions.

Dr. Gardner was kind and informative as always. My 9 year old daughter just finished her phase one in Feb 2021 and I'm getting my smile perfected before my 6 year old son might need to also do phase one. I always recommend them if I hear anyone is looking for orthodontist work.
