Over the last 20+ years, it has been truly rewarding to witness the significant changes that occur in a patients self-confidence following orthodontic treatment. I feel blessed to positively influence the lives of those around me through the creation of beautiful smiles. Facial appearanceisan important aspect of every persons character and self-esteem.

I attend numerous conferences on an annual basis to assure we can continue to provide our patients with the highest level of orthodontic care. As an orthodontic technology leader, I have presented at a number of orthodontic conferences, including the American Association of Orthodontists Annual Session in 2013 (Philadelphia), 2014 (New Orleans), and invited for 2015 (San Francisco). Our office was featured by the AAO in an article that highlightedthe paperless orthodontic practice.
I am a native of Northwest Indiana and live here with my wifeMary Carol, our children, Caroline, Charlie, and Elizabeth, and our Yellow Lab, Maisy. I enjoy attending and participating in my childrens activities, playing golf, and attending Notre Dame sporting events.I partner with several organizations dedicated to helping kids from low-income families receive braces. I am a past director of theCatholic Foundation for Northwest Indiana.
I currently reside in Valparaiso with my wifeKristen, our daughters, Lilly, Ruby, and Lexy, and dog, Ginger, the Basenji. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family,basketball, and traveling.
The eld of orthodontics really allows us to make a visible transformation in our patients lives. I love meeting new patients and guiding them through treatment to create a beautiful result. I strive for excellence and perfection in my work.
I am so excited to be joining the team at Puntillo & Crane Orthodontics. I look forward to providing patients with the same high-quality orthodontic care and excellent customer service that this team currently provides. I am thankful they have chosen me to work alongside them in creating an aesthetic and functional result.
To build on the knowledge I gained from my formal education, I participate in ongoing study and training. Continuing education allows me to offer high-quality treatment through the new knowledge that I have gained. It allows for a better overall experience for the patient, as we are able to use the newest technology and information available in the eld of orthodontics.
I am originally from Crown Point, Indiana, and have lived in Chicago for four years. My husband Aaron and I have two children; Beckett is three and Landon is six months. When Im not in the office, I spend my free time running, baking, and playing with my boys!

I always have such a nice experience when I come here. The staff is personable and the doctors are thorough. I never had an issue throughout my treatment. Rachael is awesome and so friendly! She makes my appointment fun!

I chose this office to get a second opinion on orthodontic recommendations for my 8 years old. I wasn't convinced she needed such early intervention. Dr. Crane was very knowledgeable and friendly. He sat down and explained everything he recommended and confirmed it was appropriate to wait and see and not intervene earlier than necessary. I am very happy to have chosen this practice to trust for my daughter's care. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the office is very nice. They all worked to make sure my daughter felt included and involved.

My son Trey is a patient of Dr Puntillo. He worked a program for Trey with Invisalign braces and the results at the end of the two year plus plan which were achieved today when Trey got his braces off are fantastic. Dr Puntillo and staff are consummate professionals who care about their patients and families! Their payment plan is accommodating to all income levels. I highly recommend them! Each experience and staff member has been 5 stars! They are on-time, so kind and pleasant. They take the time to full explain each step of the process to both the worried child and worried momma :). And My daughter loves the ability to sign in on her own and earn points for keeping up with her oral hygiene. I would highly recommend Puntillo!

I probably wouldn't have said anything, but the office solicited my opinion. My son just got started with his treatment yesterday so I'm not necessarily ready to give a poor review, especially since everything up until now was great. My only advice, for the office and for parents, is not to schedule new patients, especially children, for the last appointment of the day on a Friday. My son was rushed through the instructions and training on how to get his rubber bands on and left in tears because of frustration and not wanting to get treatment to begin with. I get it. It's Friday afternoon and everyone wants to go home. It was just a bummer that it had to happen on a day that he was just getting started and needed a little more time and patience to feel comfortable with getting the rubber bands on. I know better now when to schedule first appointments for new treatment. Hopefully our other visits will be better since we are just getting started.

they are absolutely awesome! the office is super clean and nice inside. their entire staff is great with answering any questions you have and making sure you're comfortable! megan put my braces on and she was amazing! i'm glad i chose puntillo and crane!

They're very kind and gentle. I had my braces put on yesterday and the doctor updated me through every step. They also made sure I was doing good throughout the process! I can tell patient care is one of their first priorities.

I had Keegan working on me today. He did amazing and I trusted him 100% of the way. Emily was amazing as well. I also want to add that Dr Gardiner is so wonderful and I always look forward to her taking care of my smile! The front desk staff is also super friendly! I highly recommend Puntillo and Crane!!!

The whole team have been so sweet and patient with us. We had so many questions going into the office. They answered everything and even had videos to help us with my sons expander. My son was so nervous, they explained everything they were doing while they put the expander in and when they were done he said "huh that's it? Well that didn't hurt." Thanks so much Crown Point Team!!!
