Dr. Scott Pugh is from the mountains of North Carolina near the town of Sparta. He completed his undergraduate degree at UNC Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Minor in Chemistry in 2009.
He spent 4 years working at DSM Pharmaceuticals in Greenville, NC as a Quality Control Lab Analyst. Dr. Pugh completed his graduate degree at East Carolina University with a Doctor of Dental Medicine, DMD. His hobbies include fishing, golfing, and traveling. He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, and Davidson County Dental Society.
Dr. Caitlin Miller Pugh, DMD was born and raised in Pinehurst, NC. After graduating from Pinecrest High School, Dr. Miller Pugh received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Minor in Chemistry at UNC Chapel Hill in 2011. After college, she worked in the Periodontal Research Lab at UNC before obtaining her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with Honors from the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine in 2017. She is a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society, American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, North Carolina Dental Society, and Davidson County Dental Society. Her hobbies include running, hiking, snowboarding, golfing, and crafts. Look for one of Dr. Miller Pughs many crafts inside the office!
Both doctors met while in dental school at ECU and married in December of 2018. They reside in Davidson County with their Goldendoodle puppy, Rosie! Dr. Miller Pugh enjoyed working alongside Dr. Jerry Laws for three years before his retirement. With a focus on general family dentistry, Drs. Pugh and Miller Pugh see patients from ages 1-95 years old.
We feel very fortunate to have a caring and motivated team in place. Youll be greeted by one of our front desk personnel the moment you arrive. Our reception area offers brochures for in-depth information on many procedures performed in our office. We like to keep patients informed of new technology and materials available. Jamica recently graduated from Charlotte Dental Assistant School in 2020. She loves the challenges and excitement the dental field presents. Meeting and caring for the patients' needs and making sure they leave with a smile on their face bring her great satisfaction. She loves spending time with her three boys and their many activities. The beach is her happy place!
Sheila has been a hygienist for 39 years. She has been married for close to 40 years with 2 adult children and 1 dog, Karley. Sheila loves to read, cook, and exercise. We love when Sheila bakes for us!
Maria has been a hygienist for 21 years. She is married with a beautiful daughter and 2 dogs. She loves the beach, Disney, and all things travel. Maria completed her first Disney marathon early this year!
Kim started he career in dentistry in 1979 as a dental assistant. Then she went to hygiene school in 1983 and has been a hygienist ever since. She loves her job and enjoys her patients and tries to make them as comfortable as possible. Kim has been married to her husband for 39 years and they have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. In her spare time, you will find Kim with her grandchildren and at the beach!
Tracy has been a dental assistant since 1992. She is a lifelong Davidson County resident. She lives in North Davidson with her husband and 2 children. Her happy place is being at the beach with her family!
Lori is our insurance coordinator at the front desk and the first person you will see when you walk into the office! She is the one who will help file your claims and get your money back! She enjoys going to the beach with her husband and loves gardening, crafting, and decorating. Lori has 3 children, 2 grandchildren, a dog, and grand dog. A huge DOG lover!

In this world of Mass Production Dentistry Clinics popping up on every corner, I was lucky to find Pugh Family Dentistry. I have never been treated like a number when I walk in. They are so personable and create a relationship with you. That is what everyone should be looking for in a dentist office. I am I client for life.

This dentist office is the best I have been to yet, They are all so nice,sweet,and kind and work to help you the best they can and they care about you and your teeth. I have been a patient of Dr. Caitlin Pugh for a few years now since she started back with Dr Laws. She along with her staff are amazing. I would highly recommend Pugh Family Dental. Since coming here I've now had my husband and mom both switch over to Pugh Dental.

I usually have major anxiety when it comes to dentists, but when I came here it was a completely different experience I wasn't anxious about being at the dentist everyone was super nice and while getting work done they were always encouraging and super attentive to I'd I felt any pain. Definitely gonna keep them as my dentist!

Just got out and I'm so grateful to Caitlyn I think that's how you spell her name and her helper. They were simply amazing and super gentle. Never thought going to the dentist I would see it as pleasant but I absolutely could not have asked for better!!! If I could give more stars, I would. This is now mine and my husband dentist and my kids next. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! All of the staff we encountered were all amazing!!

One of my teeth had started hurting me back before Christmas and being I'm a UPS man I couldn't get off work to get it looked at, so after the Christmas rush I called Pugh Dentistry yesterday (Wednesday) and they got me in the next day!!!!! My experience with this practice is FAR more than I ever expected!!! Jamica explained everything to me and was GREAT!!!! Dr.Caitlin did my procedure and she's the Bomb!!!!! I will be going back this coming Monday for a cleaning,. I couldn't be more happy with the care I received, this is the BEST dental practice I've EVER been to!!!

New patient visit at this dentists office proved to be an incredible experience! All of the staff are so pleasant, kind, professional and do all they can to make you feel comfortable. The dentist takes his time to explain your oral health and any findings. He will also offer some suggestions about products that will help to maintain the condition of your gums and teeth. Highly recommend Pugh dental practice if you are looking for a great experience and outstanding professionalism.

I had great experience as a new patient. They worked me in quickly and pleased with the staff and experience. Made me feel very comfortable as I am not the biggest fan of going to dentist in general. I will continue with this office!
