Called to make an appointment for my girlfriend who was referred by our dentist. For days the people didn't answer the phone. Then when they finally did they were very rude. At first they acted like she wasn't referred to them, then when I told them the exact referral date they were being rude and asked condescending questions about whether she had insurance. They also claimed they tried to call her and her voicemail box was full, which was a lie because they had just said they didn't know of her. Was rude about scheduling the consultation date. Called my dentist and told them about it, and they said they aren't referring people to them anymore.

2 impacted and 2 simple extractions done in less than an hour. They go through everything with you and clarify. The doctor and the assistants do a good job here. They made something scary seem super easy. Every professional, nice and welcoming as well.

A great practice for oral surgery! I just got all 4 impacted wisdom teeth removed, and the surgery took just under an hour. With how developed the roots were, I didnt know if I would sustain nerve damage, but all of my feeling has come back and I do not have to worry! Recovery is going great (well, as good as wisdom tooth recovery can be) and I am anticipating the final recovery will be the same. Thank you, Dr. Psimos, as this was my first surgery at 23 years old, so you could say I was a bit anxious. But the entire team was so professional and I highly recommend!

Had four of my wisdom teeth removed last week. I was impressed by how fast everything happened. I felt taken care of throughout my entire process; consultation, surgery, and follow up. Though the healing process (day 3-5!) was terrible, I'm glad I went to Psimos Oral Surgery for my procedure. Thanks Kopper Dental for the referral!

I just had my wisdom tooth and my really bad cavity removed today it was like 10 to 15 minutes the procedure. Was wonderful the front receptionist was really nice. I was a bit nervous because I never had oral surgery while I was awake. Unlike New York they put Intravenous and sedate you while the procedure goes on but it was a new experience for me. Job well done. I would recommend Psimos to friends

I would not recommend going here since the front desk staff are very rude and unprofessional. I overheard the front desk talking poorly of other patients while I was waiting in the waiting room. When I informed the doctor of this he didnt seem to care and told me if I felt uncomfortable with the front desk to see another doctor. I wouldnt recommend anyone coming here due to this lack of professionalism.

Scheduled to have two teeth extracted this morning and once I was in the chair a contract was presented to me with the billing. I had a question about what insurance might not cover and the dental assistant helping me said she would get someone to answer my questions. When the receptionist/office manager came back there was no introduction, just the comment "If you don't sign this, you don't get to have this procedure today." I was a bit put off and since I was already dealing with a great amount of anxiety in regards to the procedure the way it was, this really caught me off guard at her gruffness. I clearly had upset her by asking a money related question, to which I apologized for causing her direct, apathetic tone. I understand businesses need to secure payment options but this was treated with almost zero customer attention or tact. I'm sure Dr. Psimos' dental work will be satisfactory, but I will be using another oral surgeon in Rochester for my future needs.

I was looking to get my wisdom teeth removed. I first called their office to ask if my insurance was in network. They said yes but I didn't have a referral so I couldn't make an appointment then. So, I asked my dentist to refer me to them and I called Psimos Oral Surgery again. They started talking about making an appointment for consultation but I asked if I could do the consultation and the surgery on the same day. The lady on the phone said she needed to ask the doctor first so she would call me back. They never called me back so I called them. A different lady was on the phone. I told her that I was trying to make an appointment for consultation and surgery on one day and that they told me they'd call back but they hadn't so I was calling. She asked me what my insurance was, and right after I told her the answer, she said "yeah we have a waiting list of 800." I am pretty sure that was a lie. They talked about making an appointment earlier with the second call. If it were true, she wouldn't even ask about my insurance. I was very disappointed with the experience but I'm glad I ended up going to a different surgeon.

Dr. Psimos and his staff are great at what they do. I had my wisdoms removed and 6 hours later my swelling was completely gone and had no complications. I would recommend anyone to go to Dr. Psimos!

Doctor Psimos and his staff are knowledgable and know what they are doing. I couldn't be more happy with the professionalism they provided. I ended up losing my blood clot days after the extraction and I called Dr. Psimos at 10:00PM on a Saturday. He dropped what he was doing and met me at his office that night to fix my pain. They truly have the best interest for their clients in mind. I would recommend them to anyone!

Although the procedure went well, he isn't very good with patients who are scared or who are nervous before the procedure starts. He just rushed through everything, was very stern in his talking the whole time and gave no emotional support or gave the "everything is going to be okay" statement. For someone who has a fear of anything medical, I wouldn't recommend going here. I didn't have a good experience at all.
