My passion is making peoples lives better, whether it is by providing a beautiful smile, taking care of their pain, helping make their breathing easier at night, or making an early diagnosis of sleep apnea in children which can be life changing. My treatment philosophy is to treat a person as a whole. I have been practicing dentistry for over 25 years. I graduated from the University of Illinois college of Dentistry in 1993, followed by a year of hospital residency at the University of Washington in Seattle. I then taught at Oregon Health and Sciences University for over 5 years before opening my private practice in 2001.
I have continuously attended post doctorate training in complex and comprehensive cosmetic dentistry at the Spear education center. Spear is a nationally recognized center for advanced dental education. I believe these experiences have provided me with superior training to handle complex cases where esthetics, function and physiology are all important factors. I use all of these in harmony to treat for lasting results. I am a member of the Spear faculty club, on a Council for the Oregon Dental Association, and hold long-standing memberships with the American Dental Association, the Washington County Dental Society, and the American Academy of General Dentistry. My goal is to provide the finest care possible while exceeding your expectations.
Currently, I live in Lake Oswego where I was sponsored as athlete of the week! I love the Lake Oswego and Tigard area as that is where my family has grown up. My son went to the Lake Oswego school district from K-12th grade.
When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and exploring Oregons beautiful outdoor activities. I also like to give back to the community, and donate time to programs like Give Back and Smile and the Compassion Tigard Clinic which offers free dental services to people in need.
