Dr. Alfy graduated top of his class clinically with a DDS degree from LomaLinda University in Southern California. Upon graduation, he was presentedwith the 'Highest Quality of Care and Compassion for Patients' award. Priorto that, he received his bachelor 's degree from Union College in Lincoln, NEfinishing Magna Cum Laude with honors.
Dr. Alfy has been transforming many smiles in Monterey County and theSilicon Valley since his graduation from dental school. Patient comfort ishis top priority. He has extensive training and experience in CosmeticDentistry and Dental Implants. He is detail oriented and always considersthe future as he formulates treatment plans.
Dr. Alfy and his wife moved to the Monterey Bay area in August of 2014 withtheir young son. Now they have two sons who are the joy of their lives. Whennot providing outstanding dental care, Dr. Alfy enjoys traveling, spendingtime with family and friends, and participating in mission trips. Severalyears ago, he was able to travel to Cascas, Peru on a dental mission tripand he looks forward to many more opportunities to combine his passion fortraveling and helping others.
Dr. Parilla continued his career at a private practice in Manhattan for several years, before moving to California for a more laid back and relaxed lifestyle. He is thrilled to now be in the Monterey Bay area and enjoying all of the nature and beauty it provides.
Dr. Parilla works closely with his patients to formulate personalized treatment plans that work best for each individual, greatly improving oral health. He looks forward to working with you to achieve all of your dental goals.
She joined Prunedale Dental in May of 2020. Alicia enjoys the friendly patients and knowledgeable staff here, and admires the compassion of our dentists. She loves encouraging patients to achieve great dental health and helping patients understand their dental insurance coverage to make their benefits work for them.
She received her license as a Registered Dental Assistant by The California State Board of Dental Auxillaries, Coronal Polishing License, and X ray License, and assisted chairside for many years before transitioning to a business team role.
Passions of her career include assisting Dr. Alfy in implant procedures, helping patients during procedures, and learning new skills. She adores her coworkers, and feels the friendly atmosphere is very welcoming.
Audra has been a dental hygienist for five years. She appreciates the people of the Prunedale Community and loves helping them advance their dental knowledge to achieve great oral hygiene and self image.
Stefanie graduated from the Cabrillo College Dental Program near Santa Cruz in 2004. Prior to joining our team in 2019, she worked for ten years with the military dental clinic at The Presidio of Monterey Defense Language Institute.
'What I love most about my career is the low stress routine and being able to meet and talk to people,' she states. She adds that the immediate results she sees of her patients ' cleaner teeth and healthier gums is rewarding.
Stefanie grew up in Seaside and Carmel Valley, has one grown son and one teenage son. Family time is what her weekends are all about, including spending time with her ninety-five year old grandmother.
She values the staff at Prunedale Dental, enjoys caring for our patients, and stresses how much she enjoys working with the doctors on our team. In turn, we all adore her infectious laugh and good humour.

My wife and I just found prunedale dental. I went for a small amount of work but I am very happy with what the dentist took care of. I am also very comfortable with the staff. I believe I found my new dentist

These guys are poor in honesty, my insurance payed for alot of what I needed done, I also payed out of my own pocket. My last session the front desk assured me that all of my payments where all complete... I come to find out that they want me to pay them 200.00 dollars more. After almost one year, I checked my credit score this morning.. and they ruined it! To top it off when I was there the girl that cleaned my teeth was telling me that I possibly had Cancer,. Cause of my teeth bleeding.... Etc. SMH ,!

The front staff was great. Dr. Alfi wasn't the friendliest person . He needs to change the way he speaks to people and choose his words more carefully. He seemed really bothered by the fact that I wanted to talk to him before I took X- rays. I had some cosmetic work done on my teeth and wanted to see my options were before I spent money on x-rays. He came in and recommended some work that was way out of my price range. Previous Doctor at this same office was against the work he recommended.He also is unethical. He literally lied to me and said by law he couldn't work on me without x-rays. I decided that he wasn't the Doctor for me because of his terrible attitude.. I went to another Dentist the following day and ask him if there was any law about getting x -rays done. He said there was absolutely no Law saying this. It is just done for patients comfort.. Dr.Alfi is unethical and is just trying to make money off you .

The staff and associates at Prunedale Dental are friendly and professional. They provide an excellent quality of care, and what's more, they are accommodating with scheduling and clear with billing. I am grateful to everyone that I have encountered in the office. Thank you all.

I had a very comfortable experience for crown removal, cavity filling, temporary crown, and new crown placement. Dr Alfy, his office personnel, and his assistant Jacqueline were very professional and kind.

Dr. Alfie finished installing the cap on a defective tooth. He absolutely nailed the fitting of the replacement in a short period of time. Overall great service.

Teeth cleaned by Stephanie - Very nice job. Beware you will need to fill out paperwork unless done since switch to Alfy. History (new patient form) is available online. Need to sign Covid risk forms each visit.

The hygienist that took x rays etc, was wonderful! The client services staff were efficient and very friendly. But the dentist was lacking in bedside manor and mostly the ability to explain to a lay person what was needed. After he left from his 1 minute explanation of what was required for my oral health going forward, I spent 30 minutes plus trying to reconcile that lack of information with the real info the staff was trying to explain to me. This dentist was not the mail dentist at this office, maybe a contract? He did not instill confidence at all.
