I was terrified of the dentist before I went here. Everyone made me feel comfortable and Dr. Kevin Wiest was AMAZING! He talked to me the whole procedure and ensured I was comfortable. He went above and beyond to give me a beautiful smile! I 10000% recommend him and his team! Absolutely amazing and great at what they do!

My husband had been told by other dental clinics that his top front teeth could not be fixed and he would need implants. When we came to Provo Dental they said they would be able to use existing tooth pieces to build up and put crowns on them. This saved us so much money and time plus they were able to save those teeth and they are doing great in getting the rest of his mouth fixed. Everyone there that we have been around has been very nice and helpful. Highly recommended

I have been going to Dr. Wiest for over 20 years and he and his staff are always professionals, patient, and provide excellent service. I highly recommend Dr. Wiest!

I wish I could write a positive review but I unfortunately had a really negative experience with Dr Gary. I felt like my patient autonomy was violated and Dr Gary was nothing but defensive about it. Long story short, while doing another filling Dr Gary replaced a different filling that I had explicitly asked him not to touch and charged me full price for it. When I realized what happened Dr Gary didn't make the slightest attempt at an apology, and instead got defensive. Then when I came in to have the replacement filling adjusted (it was hitting super hard), I asked Dr Gary if he could explain what the adjustment would cost ahead of time, because I had had a negative experience in the past and he replied "Oh you're THAT patient" and then proceeded to not answer anything about cost and just started working on my mouth. The adjustment was free and felt good at first, but it continued to hit hard. His office staff did reimbursed me for about $30 , but this was a fraction of what the unwanted filling cost. I originally wrote this in 11/21 when I had this experience, but decided to take some time to cool off and see how my tooth felt (especially with the other overwhelmingly positive reviews). I am just barely able to eat chips again but things like almonds, hard candy, etc still hurts too much. Wish I could at least give 2 stars for quality of actual dental work, but all in all I just had a really really negative experience.

They have a teenager working the front that doesn't communicate well. The Dr's were nice and knowledgeable. Their office needs a lot of updates.

Dr. Kevin Wiest & Pam performed my exam & cleaning. It was wonderful, however Pam could have been a little nicer. I felt comfortable at all times. The nitrous Oxide helped tremendously with the visit. Dr. Keven was very warm and friendly, I felt safe with all their preventative Covid protocol at all times even before I entered the office with hand sanitizer outside the office to use before entering. What an amazing experience!! Sharron at the front desk was very friendly as I talked to her and set up my 6 month check- up and cleaning appointment!

I had a crown done about 8 months ago, and I'm about to go to another dentist to get it redone. I came here from a referral, and they had great reviews, but this has been a terrible experience. The crown was put in, and I had to go back three different times just to get it adjusted because my jaw was aching. Each time they did the cold test to see if I needed a root canal. Once it was adjusted, it was better. I still felt like there was an exposed part of my tooth which was causing me pain. He was able to see the spot, but told me it's fine, my roots are just aggravated and it needs time. I went back two more times complaining that the crown just doesn't feel right. He would look at the original X-ray, tell me that based on that it was seated correctly, and tell me it's fine. He wound up putting a liquid seal to prevent "sensitivity". Oh, and EVERY visit I was told to just use sensodyne toothpaste to decrease the sensitivity I was feeling. I feel like they just want you to numb the pain instead of fixing it. I'm still having "sensitivity" in the exact same spot, but I went to a different dentist. At my cleaning 2 weeks ago they can clearly see a gap in the crown, and I'm being recommended to get a new crown of course. I wish I could go back to Provo Dental and have them redo it, but I don't trust them to get it right, and they'll just brush off my concerns and tell me to use sensodyne. If you are going to go here, at least request the son- the older dentist is the one who messed up my crown in the first place. He's scattered, overbooks himself, and rushes through a shoddy job. The son seems more competent, but won't admit when the job was done wrong.

I was worried about my issues but they seem to understand what's going on with me better than my previous dentist. They are working hard to keep up with my periodontitis, and even when I do a poor job of keeping up, I feel good about how they talk to me. It is up to me, in between appointments to brush and floss.
